First up is a new dress which I mentioned already in my last post and I haven't been disappointed. I wore this dress from Shein to a Christmas house party and I absolutely loved how it looked with knee high boots and black tights. I always think you can't go wrong with a black and white spotted dress in any season.
And since I love black and white spotted dresses so much, I picked up another one from the same website and have been wearing it to work with my cropped H&M jumper on top for extra warmth. I've picked them both up in a size medium so that it would be too tight on my back and I love the way they hang lose but look fitted with a simple black belt on top. I do need to stock up on baggy ditsy dresses so I may need to make another order!
Next up I have a green smock dress I purchased a few years ago from H&M which again is big and baggy but I normally pull it in with a belt. To make the dress more weather appropriate I just wore a black roll neck underneath with some black tights and a black belt to pull the outfit together. During winter roll necks are your best friends and I have been wearing mine none stop. They do sell this dress in a number of different colours and I stopped myself picking up the black version as I didn't think I got enough wear out of my green dress but now, I may need to keep a eye out on the website.
My last actual dress is a purple velvet number I picked up from Primark a few years ago and this is a dress which looks super cute during the summer with some little black heels but I think it looks even cuter with a black long sleeve and tights underneath. Sometimes I think I look a little bit young in the dress but then I try it on and fall back in love.
Lastly I have a jumpsuit (similar) which I thought I would add into this post because it is such a staple summer piece because of the design and I thought I wasn't going to get any wear till next spring. The materials of the jumpsuit isn't the thickest so I can only wear it for a few weeks before I need to layer some tights underneath. I have teamed it with my white roll neck to bring out the light colours but I can also wear it with a black roll neck which works better with the tights and black boots.
Do you have any spring/summer items you've reworked for the colder months?

I have been buying clothes on eBay for years now thanks to my sister getting me hooked on following some really good users and recently a lot more people have been talking about their own finds on eBay which makes me very happy as before, a lot of people wouldn't buy clothes on eBay or they wouldn't admit to it.
Today I am going to show you my five favourite items I have found on eBay over the years and give you a few tips on buying clothing on eBay because their are some snags you have to watch out for.
Firstly here are a few tips when you are buying anything on eBay...
#Always check the measurements! Just because it says uk size 10 doesn't mean it will fit you if it is from china. Use a tape measure to measure your assets and check them against the guide.
#Check the country - If you are looking for an outfit to wear in the next few weeks, check where the item is being sent from. If its not England don't expect to see your clothes until next month at the earliest.
#Check the material - Some times from places like china, they show amazing chiffon shirts and dresses but when they come to your door they are a horrible static see through material and they end up going in your bin. So check what the description says it made from.
Now let me show you my five favourite purchases on eBay to date, half of these I have wrote a post on already so you know that these are loved and worn.
I absolutely love this coat and practically live in it when the weather is cold. It is a really nice warm material and although I have worn it to death last year it still looks brand new. I wrote a whole blog post about it here.
This dress is one of my favourite presents I have ever received, My sister bought me this on eBay about 2 years ago and as you can see from the photo I was much skinner back then (that was when I was addicted to the gym I think) so the dress looked great at the time. Sadly I don't fit in the dress anymore because I have become a whale in comparison to then but I still keep the dress in my wardrobe waiting until the day I can show it some love again.
This dress I bought for my Christmas party last year and even though I was as sick as a dog at the party, I loved my dress and can't wait for a new occasion to wear it and give it a better night then what I allowed my sick self to have at Christmas. This dress is so girlie and fitted me perfectly (although I didn't really have the boobs to fill it :()
This owl shirt I have also talked about before both here and here. It is the prettiest design and is quite baggy so I can wear it tucked into skirts or shorts but also wear it really loose with leggings or jeans. I have quite a large collection of pattern shirts I wear during the colder months and this is one of my favourites.

Lastly is this gorgeous chiffon waterful blazer in this pretty pale pink colour which my sister got me for my birthday or Christmas a few years ago. It goes lovely on top of dresses for a formal look but it also goes nice with jeans and a plain top.
If you were debating whether to buy the cute dress you saw on eBay but were a little cautious because it is eBay, as long as you check the info in the descriptions you should have no problems. I have bought quite a lot of things on eBay and even now I still get stuff and think 'that's rubbish' and end up not keeping it but that's the fun of ordering.
Please also remember that if you are buying a dress for £3-5 you are getting a item worth £3-5. Yes some things from china are amazing quality like some of my finds but they are still cheap so don't expect Zara worthy products and you'll be fine.

Hey guys, heres a little outfit of the night for you to feast your eyes on. I'm sorry about the picture quality but my room had really bad lighting and my mirror was dirty so it was a loose loose situation. I bought this pink and black checked dress from River Island a few months ago in the sale, I feel in love with it when I first saw it and knew I wanted it but this whole time I hadnt't had an occasion to wear it. It was one of my friends 30th birthday party on Saturday and I picked this out of my wardrobe and promised myself I would wear it. I paired it with a white shirt collar underneath to hide my non-exsitent breasts and some plain black heels. I felt like a Chinese schoolgirl in it but I loved it and I can honestly say no one else had my outfit so it was a good night. Because I am a bit late to the party with showing you guys my dress I now cant find it anywhere on the website so i'm sorry if you've fallen in love with it too! Hopefully they will bring another one like it out!

I picked up this grey split maxi dress from Newlook recently and I love how it hangs and simple it is to wear. You have to wear something on your bottom half because the slits are so high so I have been pairing it with black leggings and I also bought the black version and have wore that with some patterned leggings and a black skirt with tights for a night out.
The thing I like most about this dress is that I can wear it in the current weather with a leather jacket and leggings but so wear it on holiday on top of a bikini or with some shorts in the summer.
