Comfy Sunday Attire

I picked up this grey split maxi dress from Newlook recently and I love how it hangs and simple it is to wear. You have to wear something on your bottom half because the slits are so high so I have been pairing it with black leggings and I also bought the black version and have wore that with some patterned leggings and a black skirt with tights for a night out.
The thing I like most about this dress is that I can wear it in the current weather with a leather jacket and leggings but so wear it on holiday on top of a bikini or with some shorts in the summer.

Dress - Newlook
Leggings - Newlook
Sandals - Primark
Brown belt - Primark
Balloon Necklace - Newlook

Leather Owls

I am in love with this outfit.
I wore it recently shopping with my boyfriend and his two friends and even my boyfriend said that he liked it so you know when a boy says he likes an outfit, it must be nice.

The shirt I have previously shown you guys in my Recent Orders - Clothing and Make-up post but I haven't shown you it on before. It is a boyfriend styled baggy shirt which I love and I think I bought it in the size 12-14 because it was from china. I love the baggy fit of it and have wore it with black leggings and ripped jeans before. When I tuck shirts into skirts and such I do like to have a kind hang over as you call it so that my waist looks smaller so since it is a bigger fit I can easily tuck it into my tights so that the shirt doesn't move and still have my hang over.

I paired the shirt with my leather (or pleather) skirt from H&M that I purchased early last year. I haven't had to the chance to wear this skirt before because I think it a bit too out there for normal day to day wear, but for this day I just decided I wanted to make a effort with my appearance so brought it out to play. It is a perfect fit for my waist and I haven't seen another pleaded skirt like this in store since but they do have loads of different style of leather skirts so they are definitely worth a look.

I wore my favourite Newlook boots of the moment with the outfit which are currently sold out online so I wont tease you with a proper photo of them (mainly because I forgot to take a photo of them...).

Hope you enjoyed this little extra post :)

Merry Christmas & Outfit For The Festive Day

I just wanted to tell you all I hope you have a lovely Christmas with your families, friends or who ever your with :)
I'll also share with your my simple but dressed up outfit for the big day. This white dress is from a Next wearhouse near me and my funky tights are donkeys years old but I thought they'd look cute with the plain dress. And of course at Christmas you have to wear red lips!
See you lovelies after Christmas! Xx

My week in outfits #1

I thought I'd start doing posts where I round up photos of the outfits I've wore that week that I especially like/love and wanted to share with you guys :)

The first outfit includes the floral shorts I recently bought and posted about which are my new favourite piece of clothing! They are so vibrate and eye catching, I had a few people come up to me and ask me where I got them from so I felt good that I pulled them off. They hang so nicely and the material is great because they are light and dont get creased when you sit down which is brilliant!
I would normal wear them with a chiffon cami top but because I was wearing them to work I didn't want to be moving around and flashing the flesh so I wore it with a plain strappy black t-shirt, black tights and a green cardigan which brought out the green in the shorts.
The shorts and cardigan are from Newlook and the tights and plain t-shirt are from Primark

The second outfit is a new dress I recently bought which I am loving for the warmer months. It's is a carpet pattern dress which feels very tribal (if you know what I mean). I paired it with a black and gold rope necklace (matalan), a brown belt and a black cardigan (Newlook) as I wore this the day before the heat wave so it was still pretty cold. I love that you can literally throw on this dress and go, it is very easy to wear.

And then lastly today since it's my day off and (apparently) it is going to be hot like it was yesterday (I wouldn't know...) I am wearing this fitted white and blue spot denim dress from Primark. I love how slim it makes me look and I think it makes me look taller as well which is a bonas! I'm wearing it with a little brown belt and some light brown sandle flats from Newlook.

Hope you've enjoyed this little post as I love reading them myself and I'm going to make them a regular thing here :) xx

Outfit of the day | Easter Sunday

Happy Easter Sunday guys! I hope you've all had a chocolate egg for breakfast, I know I have... And I regret nothing.
I'm bringing you my outfit for today as I use any little excuse to dress up and I'm wearing a dress that I have had for a good few months now (pretty sure it was some time last year maybe) and I've never wore before.
I bought it from the Next fashion warehouse in my hometown and that shop is fast becoming my favourite place to find dresses now. I always find at least one thing I like there and all the dresses are perfect for nights out or special occasions. Plus most of them are between £8 and £10, best bargains ever!

So today I am wearing this white skater dress with a ribbed effect all over it. It's quite a thicker material so it won't crease when I sit down which I love! It hangs really nicely because there is soooo much material so I don't have to worry about it looking unflattering and it hides my muffin top - yay!
It was only £10 at the warehouse which is a bargain and I'm really glad I found it and that I've finally wearing it.
I've paired it with some black tights because let's be realistic, it's not spring weather yet, no matter how much I wish it was. I'm also wearing a plain brown belt to keep it light as I thought a black belt would be too dull, a gold and cream flower necklace from Newlook which is super cute and only £8, plus my favourite gold watch.

I've kept my makeup quite minimal as my skin is misbehaving at the moment and as soon as I get one spot under control, another one appears, and then the first one doesn't like sharing the attention so decides to get 3 bigger! So I'm not wearing any foundation as I didn't want to anger my spots, I'm wearing the Elf Mineral Eye Liner, Maybelline Volume Express Turbo Boost mascara with the Collection supersize mascara on top, then the Mac eyeshadow in Fresh and Easy (a birthday gift from Ashleigh and James <3) and the Revlon Photoready Creme blush in Coral Reef.

I hope you all have a lovely day and enjoy eating lots of chocolate, sadly I've had my allowance for today (I'm on a chocolate detox because of my spots). My day with be spent relaxing with my family, what are your plans today? :) xx

Face and outfit of the day 14th February

I thought I'd start writing these posts whenever I change up my regular makeup as I enjoy reading them so hopefully you'll enjoy reading them by me :)

So let's get started! I'm having a super lazy DVD day (exciting Valentines day plans I know... ) so I didn't put too much effort into my makeup or outfit, I wanted natural makeup and comfy cosy clothes.
*Three of the products I'm wearing today are new so this is the first time I am actually trying them out*

So on my face I am wearing Maybellines superstay 24 hour foundation* which I thought would have more coverage but it is quite natural. I'm hoping next time to layer it up without looking cakey. The concealer I am wearing is Collection 2000 in fair 1.  On my eyes I am wearing Maybellines volum' express turbo boost mascara* which I am really liking and my mini liquid eyeliner by Eyeko London* which I received in my Birchbox this month. Lastly on my lips I am wearing the lipstick I bought from H&M in the shade 'wild thing' just to shade things up a bit since I have hardly any makeup on.

For my outfit my leggings are from Forever 21 and my jumper is from Newlook

Hope you enjoy! :)

Excuse my tired eyes!
