It's that time of the month again when I want to curl up into a ball and die. A little over dramatic maybe but we are allowed to over dramatize it since sometime it does feel like death is gripping us from within. I need a lot of home comforts to help me through this dreaded time and I am going to share them with you today. I am currently sitting here in bed with 4 of them on/being used, just waiting on Cal to finish watching football so I can have the last!
- Lots and lots of chocolate - white, milk, in cookies, in bar form, with ice cream. Basically anything with chocolate on will be fine.
- The most fluffiest Pjs I can find - matching off course with big slippers and a dressing gown to go with.
- Lush showers daily- I always feel gross on my period so daily showers using the best smelly Lush products help me feel better.
- Hot water bottles are life! Especially if they have a furry cover.
- Big fat pillows to place in between your legs when you sleep - Please tell me I am not the only person who does this to ease the pains at night?!
- I know I mentions chocolate but like any food at all will do. Home cooked is the best but takeaway does the job, especially if there is no one to cook it for me!
- Big baggy joggers and a comfy hoodie - preferably the boyfriends as they always seem to be more comfy.
- Lots of cuddles with the boyfriend - If you don't have one a teddy will do, they might even be better...
Now time to curl up listening to Shaun Mendes voice to sooth my sore belly...
P.S I couldn't find a photo to go with the post so have some snapchat selfies of me!

If any of you work in retail in particular then you will know how it feels to get home after a stressful day of wanting to rip your hair out, literally. If you've had a hard day or everyone has just annoyed you and the thought of going back tomorrow makes you want to cry. Here's a list of things I tend to do to get over one of them horrible days.
- Change you clothes - even if you don't wear a uniform it is nice to change your clothes so that you don't feel like you are still at work.
- Eat your favourite food - going to your favourite restaurant for your favourite food or having your favourite takeaway can make you forget about your day.
- Go for a walk - I love going for long walks in the country side when I have something on my mind. I always have my best brainwaves when I'm on my own in the quite.
- Put on a face mask - nothing is more refreshing then properly cleansing and cleaning your face when you feel like your day is clogging your mind (and your face)
- Be around people - when I am having a bad day I tend to actually sit in the living room and watch trashy evening tv with my parents because it takes my mind off my troubles.
- Have a long sleep - need I explain why?!
- Stick on your favourite romcom- you know the one where the guy is super hot and you love the lead girl because she reminds you of yourself.
- Stick on your favourite youtubers - I love a good get ready with me
- Have a good old cuddle of someone who makes you happy - saved the best for last really :)
What do you do to get over a rubbish day?
I recently felt like this yay... for two weeks I had a viral and chest infection and my body went into normal shutdown mode. I was in bed for about 4 days and constantly felt like I was dying.
While I was in bed I drafted this post (which im quite proud of considering I couldn't stand at some moments) to tell you guys what I do when im having a sick day to either make myself feel better or to get through the day without tearing my hair out.
Sleep Loads
and loadssss
Change my bed sheets
may sound odd but when im ill I hate lying in a bed that I was ill in the night before, I feel like I am just lying in my own illness so I have to change my bed.
Take a hot bath
boiling hot in the mornings to wake me up and the evening to make me sleepy
Pamper myself
If I can get out of bed to get them I like to paint my nails, it makes me feel better to have nice shinny new nails and maybe put a face mask on, my skin is always really horrible when I don't feel well so I have to use these to put a bit more love into my skin
Catch up on social media
Bloglovin, twitter, Instagram, pinterest. These keep me sane!
Watch films on the sofa
this time I watched love actually to make me feel better
Read the paper
like a old man I like to read the paper to know what is going on in the world while I'm stuck in bed
Online sale shopping!!! opps..
