Last year I wrote a blog post called My 5 Most Popular Posts From 2014 and although the name of the post has changed, I am going to talk you through my most popular posts from 2015 too. Some of my most popular posts from the year are posts I put a lot of effort into and so I am glad they are my best received posts.
I'll start with my fifth most popular post and work my way up and that post was my Pure Lips post. This post was all about some new lipsticks I had purchased from Newlook. I still love these lipsticks and recently posted a second post all about more Newlook lipsticks that I bought recently, read that post here.
My fourth most popular post of the year was my Why Lily Collins Will Forever Be My Girl Crush post. I got a lot of love for this post so a lot of people must share my love for the girl. I basically list all the reasons why I love the girl and why I want to be her. If you love Lily too have a little read!
My third most popular post was my Best finds on eBay and Tips! post and I really enjoyed writing this post as I had never seen anything like it and loved how it came out. I do love a eBay shop and this post shows you all the great bargains I have bought over the years and gives you a few tips for buying great quality products on the site.
My second most popular post was my How To Style | Ripped Jeans post which was my fifth most popular post for 2014. Fashion posts are something that I really enjoy writing but very rarely do which is something I want to change in 2016.
My most popular post of 2015 was my Kiko Universal Fit Hydrating Foundation which I wrote in January of 2015 and for the whole year it has been my most read post with 1059 views, that might not be a lot to some of you but to someone like me, that is a lot of views! If I am being totally honest with you, I have no idea why this post has become so popular but every month this post is my most viewed post.
This year has been a good year for myself and my blog and I finally feel like I am finding my own style of blogging. I can't wait to see what 2016 brings and hope that I still enjoy blogging then as much as I do now (which I know I will already)
I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who has followed me this year and also to the lovely people who have been following me prior to this year. I appreciate you all so much and hope you all have a lovely new years day and hope you all have an amazing year.
I am not one who has many girl crushes, guys that's another story I like any lead in any romance movie but I don't have many girl crushes. I do have a major girl crush on Lily Collins though, to the point where I want to be her and I want her life. There's more than a few reasons why too...
She is the daughter of legend musician Phil Collins!
She brought back the fuller natural looking eye brows (well contributes to the trend coming back anyway)
She looks like Audrey Hepburn
She goes from super long hair to a pixie cut and rocks them both
She is dating Jamie Campbell Bower (one is my man crushes!!!)
She totally embraces her natural pale skin (but here's a earlier photo of her with a tan, she looks like a totally different person)
She is half British
She is intelligent and went to university
She continuously post photos on Instagram and loves a good quote
She has a wicked sense of style
She loves a red lip
And lastly I love all her films, I don't know if making this post is entering into stalker territory but ... who cares!
Hello strangers! I've had a little break from here recently as
1) I have had a busy and stressful few weeks
2) I didn't have any ideas of what to write when I actually sat down and thought about writing a post. So thank god it is the beginning of the month (kinda still) so I can ease myself back in nicely.
This is going to be a very random group of items so enjoy! :)
First off are the two new movies I recently bought that I love so much! I read the book for Beautiful Creatures a few months ago and tbh I couldn't finish it as I felt it dragged on. But when I saw the film in HMV I really wanted to see if the film was better than the book. It was. It is sooo much better than the book and it actually made me find southern American accents attractive... I'm not even embarrassed haha!
The second film is The Mortal Instruments - City of Bones which is sooooo good! I love fantasy/action movies and this is right up my street! The two leads are my favourite actors at the minute; Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins.
This leads me on to my next favourite which is the lovely Lily Collins. She is beautiful, calming and is a great actress. I first saw her in the film Mirror Mirror and loved her in it, then when I bought The Mortal Instruments and realised that she was in it too, I loved it even more. She is my new girl crush and my hair envy, I am planning on dying my hair soon a little brown or reddish colour just like Lily.
A book that I have loved this month and read in a matter of days was How to fall in love by Cecelia Ahern. I read a really good review on it in a magazine so I thought I might as well buy it as I needed a new books to read. As soon as I started it I could not put it down! I couldn't stop smiling after I finished it. If you love reading books about love stories then this is perfect, I recommend it to you all! :)
The three make up items I have been loving this month were all presents from my friends so I didn't actually buy them myself but I have still been using them non stop. First is one of Tanya Burr's nail vanishes in the shade Bright and Early, I love the colour so much it is perfect for spring and summer. It is really easy to apply and looks good even with just one layer on. Tanya Burr gets a thumbs up from me.
The other two items of make up are both Mac products - My first Mac products actually yay! - They are the Mac Eye Kohl pencil in shade Teddy and the Mac Zoom Lash Mascara. These both have become my favourite eye products to use especially the mascara, it makes my eyes look really big and open but its keeps them looking natural as well which I love in a mascara
Sorry I've been slacking lately with the posts but now I feel like I'm getting my life back and dealing with the stresses that's been taking up my time and energy so hopefully more posts shall be coming along in good time! :)
