Starting off with skincare Cal used my Glossier Wish List post to pick put some glossier products for me and he done good. He got me a set which included the Milky Jelly Cleanser, Priming moisturiser and the Balm dotcom. The balm has already made its way into my handbag and the moisturiser has really surprised me. I have used it for the last few days underneath my makeup and I have really like how it made my skin feel, my makeup has glided on afterwards. He also separately bought me the Solution exfoliating skin perfector and the Super Bounce serum. The Solution is a lot harsher than I imagined it would be so it is definitely a once a week skincare product and the serum is out of this world in my opinion. Yes it is my first serum in my life so I may just be blown away with the effects because I have never used one before but I am in love right now.
My sister got my a load of Kiko products to try and the first one which I am really excited about is the Exfoliating Lip Stick because you guys know how much of a problem I have with my lips so a stick scrub is right up my street. She also got me a Smart Fusion lip pencil in the shade 533 which is a nice deep brown nude which matches the matte lipstick she also bought me in shade Velvet Passion. This lipstick is so cool because it smells like chocolate and the top is magnetic and it is one of them things that you can't stop playing with. Lastly from Kiko I got the Volumeeyes+ active mascara in black which is great because it has a fiber brush with a thin tip which is great at getting in the corners baby lashes.
Finishing off the beauty section of this haul I have the Naked Heat palette by Urban Decay which is just beautiful. I have waited a while to try this palette and I have used it for the last few days since I got it. My favourite combo has to be He Devil with Scorched on top which looks so pretty. I love pinky red tones so this palette is perfect for me. I also got the Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation and concealer in the shade 3.5 cream rose which I have been wanting to try for a long time. It is definitely a natural foundation which is what I like and the colour match is spot on so this will permanently be in my makeup bag for a while.
Moving onto non makeup presents Cal also got me the Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue which was one of the first perfumes he bought me over the years so we've come back full circle. I also got this lovely red Linea Cross Body Circle bag which is the perfect size for days out and a great colour for nights out with a all black outfit.
Lastly I received loads of books for my birthday mainly of Mary Berry who is my favourite human of the moment. I got two baking books which are 100 Cakes and Bakes and Mary Berry's Baking Bible and two cooking books which are Classic Mary Berry and Mary Berry Everyday. My last book is Stacey Dooley's On The Frontline With The Women Who Fight Back, I have been obsessed with Stacey ever since she was on Blood Sweat and T-shirts. I love everything Stacey is about and can't wait to read about her experiences first hand.

I have mentioned before that I am a total bookworm and since getting my iPad I have read so many books on it I think it is about time I gave you a low down of my favourites.
Shadow Demon Series by Sara Cannon
This is my current series that I am reading and every book is free on iTunes which is a bonus. It consists of 8 books and is about the existence of shadow demons in a small town. It is very much a young adults novel and not surprisingly it includes a little romance with a 'bad boy' as he is refereed to by the other characters. The main character has had a hard life but finally feels like she has a place when she moves to a new town and realised she was born a witch. As she learns more about what she is and what the town have planned for her, her willingness to become what the town want her to be becomes too much. I am currently on the 3rd book and I am loving the series, each book isn't very long so you get into the plot very quickly and aren't waiting around for something to happen.
This book is good for people who like romance, magic and mystery.
The Dimily Series by Estelle Maskame
This is my favourite series I have read in a very long time. It consists of 3 books, Did I mention I love you, Did I mention I need you and Did I mention I miss you which is released at the end of July. This book is about true love which isn't considered the norm as the characters involved are step siblings who hated each other at first. Eden and Tyler are my OTP and you see their relationship grow through the books overcoming obstacles like parents and other partners. I have been waiting what feels like a year for the last book in the series to come out and I don't know if I'm ready for it to be the end.
This book is good for young people who like romance and drama.
The Sullivans Series by Bella Andre
This series was one of the first book series I read on my Ipad and I become totally obsessed with it, reading the books in 2 days and then buying the next one start after. There are 17 books in total in the series and I had read 7 before I had to stop because it was taking over my life. Each book follows a member of the Sullivan family find love with the most unexpected people, I am not ashamed to say I feel in love with the male in each book. Each person has their own problems and life challenges which mean they've never been serious with anyone before which makes the events in the books so much more intense.
This book is good for people who like romance, drama and adult themes. (very naughty!)
The Silence Series by Natasha Preston
This is a more serious series which really pulled on my heart strings. This series of 2 books follows a girl called Oakley who hasn't talked since she was a 5 and is trying to finding her way in life and romance but at the same time holding back a secret that would rip her family apart. It made me so emotional and had me rooting for Oakley the whole way through. Her romance with Cole is the purest, cutest thing I have ever seen and his willingness to do anything to protect her made me fall for him.
This book is good for people who like romance, drama and adult themes.
So what have we learned today? I fall in love with every male character I read in books apparently... I have to give credit to the authors for making the characters so real! I have focused on the series' that I have read in this post but I have plenty more stand alone books on my iPad that I can talk about if you are interested. Also if you have any good recommendation on young adult romance books, leave them in the comments below!

At the minute I have a hand full of bloggers who I am loving at the minute. I always look out for their posts when I'm scanning Bloglovin and I'm never disappointed with their posts.
If you don't already read them than you need to have a look at them! :)
Ive really been loving Rebecca's post recently, I look to her for make up and lifestyles posts.
I love Corrie, I find her hilarious and always enjoy her posts. She was one of the first people who I used to read, who made me want to start blogging myself. I love her make up, fashion and hair posts. Major hair envy!!
I really enjoy Aileen's make up posts but the thing I have loved the most recently was her posts about friends knowing about your blogs, I found I really related to her post and thought it was great.
I love everything about Becky's blog. I love the layout and design, I love the way she takes photos, I love her little sausage dog and lastly her round up posts.
