Newlook have done it again and created some amazing shades for the autumn winter months and I have already got my hands on some of them before they re-brand their makeup all over again (which I am very excited about). Before I purchased these new shades I did sort out of my makeup and give away some of my less used shades in my lip collection so I now keep all of my Newlook lipsticks in this little cute lipstick holder from TKMax.
I am embracing the dark lip for once this year and have purchased a few darker shades then I am used to, one of them is the Dark Brown lipstick in shade number 27. The name isn't very imaginative but it describes the shade perfectly and although it is a dark brown shade, I think it is very wearable and won't look too out of place on a day to day basis. I tried it on at home the day I bought it and at first I was a bit like woah, but once I had got used to it I really liked the colour on me. I am tried to expand my lip colour range so I don't spend another few months with permanent dark berry lips!
I also bought the Mid Brown shade in the number 24 which is a light brown/pinky nude all rolled into one lipstick. I really like this colour and although I have about ten thousand nude lipsticks, I am glad I now have this in my collection. It is super easy to wear with any makeup look and suits my skin tone perfectly.
My last lipstick with a more inventive name is the shade Cinamon 81 which is a peachy-orangey shade which is very autumn appropriate. Some people only link autumn and winter with dark shades but I think this is a perfect autumn shade as it reminds me of orange leaves and the brilliant burnt orange shade we get in clothing shops. I am not a big fan of orange lip shades but this lipstick is a very loved addition to my collection and I suspect with be used a lot in the next few months.

I have a big obsession with highlighters like most beauty bloggers these days and I love talking about them. I have a few posts about highlighters already under my belt including Highlighting on a budget and Shopping my stash | Highlighters but now it is time to talk about my all time favourite highlighters in my collection.
I'll start with my only pallet in the post, the Collection Contour Kit - Highlight and Sculpt. This is one pallet where I can safely say I make use of both the shades in this kit. The highlighter is so beautiful and super pigmented for the price of £4.19. Unlike some palettes you actually get a generous size of product so it should last my for a long time unless I start going crazy with the highlight.
I have two Revolution highlighter products which I love to pieces and always go back to. I have had the Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights for nearly a year now and I haven't even hit pan yet which is amazing. I do love powder highlight as I think it tends to last longer and this powder is so pigmented and blends so lovely on the skin and on top of other makeup. I also have it in Pink lights which is beautiful to wear as well and is as pigmented as the peach version.
I also have The One Highlighter Stick by Revolution which is so so pretty. Although I tend to use powder highlighters more often then stick versions, I do have two favourites in my stash and this is one of them. I find this gorgeous stick is super creamy and doesn't budge my foundation which I find in some sticks, it gives a gorgeous effect to the skin and it reminds me of Nars Copacabana highlighter.
Lastly I have two Newlook Pure Colour highlighters which I love love love. The first is the Baked Highlighter Powder in 93 Gold which I use as a bronzer/highlighter as it is the prefect shade to give a bit of colour to your cheeks as well as some sparkle. The pigmentation of the highlighter is insane and I use this product all the time and still haven't hit pan (I don't actually think I have hit pan on any of my highlighters which makes me happy).
My final product is the Pure Colour highlighter Stick in 93 Gold. Like the Revolution stick, the Newlook stick doesn't budge any of my foundation when I apply it and it is so smooth and creamy when you apply it and again, leaves a beautiful shimmer to the skin. Since this stick is a little bit smaller then the Revolution stick it is perfect to add highlighter to your nose and brow arch, which might be too small for the bigger sticks to fit in.
What are some of your favourite Highlighters?

Every since Newlook started selling their Pure Colour makeup range I have been hooked, I swore by the Kelly Brook nail polishes and mascara and then they reformulated their makeup and I fell even more in love. The reformulated version is called Pure Colour and my collection is rather large now...
One of the first products I purchased was the Liquid Concealer with the Liquid Foundation and compared to the quality of the foundation, the concealer didn't impress me at all. I don't like how it looks on my skin and I don't like blending it in either. It also doesn't hide anything which is its main job. That's enough of a bad review, now onto my all time favourite product from the range, the Contour Palette!! I actually only use one shade in this palette but that one shade makes this palette my all time favourite. The contour shade is so perfect for my skin, it isn't too brown or too muddy looking which I find a lot of the time.
Another of my favourite products from the range is the Highlighter Stick in 93 Gold. This is a gorgeous golden shimmer highlighter which blends in really easily and doesn't stick out on the skin. The Baked Power Highlighter is also an amazing product, it is more of a highlighter / bronzer with its golden brown pigment.
I have two eye products from the range as well, the Baked Eye shadow in 91 Bronze is amazing and super pigmented. I haven't had much use of the Waterproof Ink Liner but from trying it on my hand I can see it is long lasting as I can't get out off afterwards.
I have purchased loads of base products from Newlook over the months, my all time favourite is Mattifying Primer which is a really good primer for the price that it is. It really helps to make my foundation last longer and it gives me silky smooth skin which I love. I also have the Illuminating Primer which I am not as big a fan of as I don't think it changes how my skin looks that much, but as a primer it is still good.
I have two types of foundations from the range, the first is the Liquid Foundation in the shade 03 Beige which I really like to wear on 'no makeup days' when I am lazy. It lasts on my face all day at work and blends in really nice with your fingers rather than a brush. I also have the Foundation and Contour Sticks in 01 Light and 02 Medium. On my arm the Medium Foundation looks considerably darker then the Lighter shade but the difference isn't this large in real life. I like to use the light shade all over my face and then the medium shade to contour my cheeks and temples.
I have already given you two posts about the Pure Colour Lip Sticks before so I wont go into too much detail as you can read them both here Pure Lips #1 / Pure Lips #2. I also have some Matte Lipsticks from the range which I was really excited to try but they are just too matte for me and they dry my lips out too much which I am really disappointed about. The lip crayons on the other hand are so nourishing on the lips and leave a shiny smooth colour on my lips.
My Collection is definitely a large one but for the price of the products you can't go wrong. Since I was only disappointed in two of the product I think that is a pretty good run.
Have you tried any of the Pure Colour collection?
So the last few weeks I have bought quite a bit of makeup and so it is time for a bumper haul since I haven't posted one since September last year! It may have been a long time but I don't think I am going to disappoint you with this collection of goodies!
Pure Colour Foundation and Contour Sticks in Light and Medium
This sticks have only came in in the last week or so and I had to try them as soon as I spotted them. I love the idea of foundation in stick form but I haven't try any brands yet. To save my money being splashed on an expensive version that I didn't like I picked up this £4.99 version in 2 shades to try out. So far so good!
Topshop Glow Pot in Polished
I have wanted this pot for ages but My topshop never seemed to have this shade until last week. I couldn't buy it quick enough and I have loved it so far, the effect it gives my face is amazing and I understand the hype around it.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze
This is the 7th pot in my collection I can't get enough of these eye shadows. These are perfect for someone as lazy as me to just whack on my lids and go. As a big lover of bronze and glitter shades these one is right up my alley.
Miss Sporty Perfect Stay Concealer in Light and Medium
I've been looking for a new concealor for a while and after watching some YouTube videos I decided on giving this brand a go. The concealers are only £2 something each which is crazy cheap and worth a shot I think. I picked up the Light and Medium shade and there is quite a big difference in the shades so it might be worth mixing the two shades together to match my skin when I have a little tan to my face.
Bourjois Aqua Blush in 02 CocoriCorail
This product is just beautiful. I am not a big blush fan but the idea of this really intrigued me and once I tried it I found that I really loved it. The product can look scary when you first pump it out but it blends in so easily that it looks really natural on the skin.
Rimmel Oh My Gloss in 800 Crystal Clear
& Seventeen Lip Luster in Ice Maiden
I was on a hunt for some new lipgloss to add to my collection since I wasn't really get much use out of my matte lipsticks this winter. These two caught my eye for two reasons; the clear lipgloss to use when I don't want to use any colour but I want my lips to pop and the nude lipgloss to wear when I have big eye makeup.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in 200 Latino
I did buy one lipstick recently but I choose carefully with the moisture renew formula so hopefully my lips won't crumble into pieces when I apply it! The shade is a low key perfect for the spring time.
Rimmel Kate Moss Eye Shadow Stick in 100 Rose Gold
This stick is just so gorgeous, the shade is super pigmented and I've never really been into eye shadow sticks before but I thought this shade would be the best place to start. I love cream eye shadows so I am sure I will love this product.

For two days I stayed round my sister's flat while she went away (the lucky thing) and so I thought this was a perfect time to update my Travel Makeup Bag post. Now I have named this my Extravagant make up bag because I know that the contents of this bag is a bit excessive, I blame the size of my makeup bag! Enjoy my Makeup Bag guys!
