Five Products I'm Loving This Summer

The W7 palette is much more darker in real life I not sure why it looks so pale....

Since the heat wave started in England I have been living my best sun kissed life (apart from when I'm drenched in sweat...) and I have been returning to the same five products every day to help me keep my glow.

The first is the Revolution Vivid Baked Bronzer in the shade Golden Days which if you have been around for a while you will know this was my favourite bronzer back when I started this blog in 2014. I like bronzers that are warmed toned without being too dark because although I have olive skin not all bronzers suit me, this bronzer is really easy to blend and it is a steal at just £4.

Now I'm going to do that horrible thing where I talk about a product that isn't available anymore I'm sorry! It's currently sold out on the website but it may still be in shops I hope! The bronzer in question is the Fall 2.0 Baked Bronzer in 01 Warm Melange which was a bit more expensive at £22.90 but it is an amazing bronzer especially during this heat wave. It has the same effect as the Revolution baked bronzer so it doesn't give your face a flat colour when you apply it. It it also huge so for that size I don't mind spending a little more money on it. It also smells like chocolate I thought you might want to know. Since I can't link the actual bronzer here is Fall Bronzer Blush Duo which is currently only £3.80!! and the current Gold Waves bronzer which is very similar to my one.

The only highlighter I've been reaching for recently is the PS Glow Palette from Primark which is actually bloody amazing and is only £5!! I didn't expect too much from this palette when I bought it but I have been wearing this palette all over my face. I normally only wear highlighter on my cheeks on a day to day basis but with this highlighter I have gone to ham. My favourite shade has to be the bottom right which goes with any makeup look. As my tan has developed I have branched out to the dark top left shade which looks amazing. If you want to see swatches of this palette then head over my New In Primark Makeup post.

Now onto eye palettes I have two which are my favourite to wear during the summer. Starting with the cheaper of the two again I have the W7 In The Nude palette which is a great dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette but a fraction of the price. I have had this palette since 2016 and two years on I am still living it, especially when it is sunny. It just has a lovely array of pinks and light browns with shimmers mixed in, anything you would need for a cute summer eye look. All the shades are easy to wear which is why I like it so much, you know I am a max two shade kind of eye so these shades all work well together. My favourite combo from this palette is the fourth shade called Marilyn with the eighth shade called Bad Manners on top. The other palette I have been loving this summer is the Naked Heat palette which of course is perfected for summer. Callum bought me this palette for my birthday as he is a keeper so I have this beauty in my collection. I tend to stay down the bottom end of the palette especially at this time but when we get into the winter time I know I will be using that beautiful ashes shade. My favourite combo at the moment from this palette is to place Dirty Talk on top of Low Blow for a brown/red glitter.

Whats your favourite makeup product this summer? I haven't bought anything new in so long!

Mini Makeup Haul

Mini Makeup Haul

Last week was a really rough week for me so I decided to treat myself with some makeup goodies courtesy of my boots advantage card, that thing is bloody brilliant! I needed to pick up some old favourites which has ran out recently and try some new lip products which I have been watching for ages.

Firstly the golden oldies; I love L'Oreal foundations they are slowly starting to take over Rimmel as my favourite foundation brand. The True Match foundation and the Infallible foundation are both old favourites of mine for different. The Infallible foundation is everyday classic which always look good even when my skin is having a melt down. The True Match foundation is the perfect for flawless skin which I love for days/nights out when I want to look really good. I have mention both these foundations numerous times to on the blog before so you know they are firm favourites of mine.

Mini Makeup Haul

I have had my eye on these Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolours for what feels like months. I first saw them in my local Tescos store glamorous I know and didn't picked them up that time for some reason and then every time I went into Boots I could never find them! Luckily this one time I found them so got two shades to try and I haven't  disappointed.
I picked up the shades in 700 Sand which is a nudey brown which really suits me and the other shade is 760 vineyard which is a georgous purple nude colour shock both have hint of nude. These are super moisturising on the lips but also packs a lot of colour which you don't always get with both. I feel like these might live in my bag for the rest of this year as lip toppers for when I am out, especially the nude shade. Mini Makeup Haul

Lastly I have a little extra product which I found in my local B&M store which has some hidden gems inside. I have heard that the W7 Hollywood Bronze and Glow is a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette which it obviously wont be the same but the less then £5 you might as well try it. It is a little bit warm for me but when I have a tan it looks really nice. The highlighter isn't my favorite I'll be honest but the bronzer shade is working for me so far.

My Four Favourite Eyeshadow Palettes

I recently decluttered my eyeshadow palettes collection in preparation for the big move ekkk (house tour coming very soon if you are interested?) and by doing so I realised I have four main palettes that I couldn't live without so I decided they deserved a post.

The first palette is the Seventeen Easy On The Eye palette in Birthday Suit, it is such a good size and it includes 12 shadows which makes it great for travelling and creating different looks. It includes 3 cream shades, one cream base and 8 powder shades which all work really well together. I tend to use one of the cream shades as a base and then layer the power shades on top and it lasts all day on me. I find the shades are really easy to blend as they are really buttery so when I have no energy I can still create a good look.

My next palette is the Revolution Salvation Palette in What Are You Waiting For which I have had for a few years now but I love it so much I can't get rid of it. It includes 6 matte shades and 12 shimmer shades which all really compliment each other and you can make quite a few looks with them. I find all Revolution palettes are super pigmented and feel so buttery to apply, you can create looks really quick and easy in a rush in the morning. I especially like that the palette ranges from pale nude shades to a jet black and shimmer black so you really can create any look.

I had to include the cult classic Urban Decay Naked 2 palette in this post because how could I not?! I love using this palette for nights out and party makeup because it always works and the shades are so pretty. I love golden shimmer shades and this palette is full of them which is like heaven to me. This palette also includes a black so if I want to do a smokey eye, I have all I need. Surprisingly as well I really like the brush that comes with the palette, I usually throw away them brushes straight away but I use that brush every time I use that palette, it makes blending so easy.

My last palette is the W7 In The Nude palette which is an amazing dupe for the Naked 3 palette and it has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. It is full of blush tones which work really well in the spring time. It includes 3 matte shades and 9 shimmer shades which again all compliment each other really well and the pigmentation of the palette is on par with the Naked 3 palette if I am being honest.

I don't think you need to splash out loads of money to get a good quality eyeshadow palette as the drugstore has some amazing products, as you can see three out of my four favourite palettes are drugstore.
What palettes would you include in your top four?

My Current Everyday Makeup Routine

My Current Everyday Makeup Routine

My everyday makeup routine has changed up recently since I introduced some new products and some old products which I had forgotten about back into my routine.

B A S E
I recently got this little sample of Mac's Prep and Prime to try and I can't actually believe I have never tried it before. It feels more like a moisturiser than a primer which is why I really like using this product. It leaves my skin so soft and smooth so my foundations applies so nicely afterwards. I have finally started trying out the L'Oreal Infallible Stay Fresh Foundation properly and I like it so far. Compared to the matte formula of the foundation I find it feels more clogging on the skin and oxidizes when I first apply it but I can get away with it as I have quite a tanned neck thank god. I have been applying this foundation with my beauty blender which I wet first with the Newlook Fix Makeup Setting Spray which I think makes so much difference. I find the foundation gives me a nice glow but doesn't have the best coverage so I do have to go in with my concealers after. Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 10 works perfectly under my eyes to brighten my bags and the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in 2 cool medium covers all my annoying blemishes with a thin layer. Lastly for powder I brought back out the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder which is an old classic.

C H E E K S
To give me so killer cheekbones (or try anyway) I have been using my W7 Honolulu which I got in a Christmas calendar. This contour is the perfect colour and suits my skin tone so well, I would describe it as a dark ashy toned brown. It works as a contour and bronzer product so depending on what look you are going for you cover both bases. I have been double bronzing lately though so I have been packing on the Benefit Hoola bronzer on top of my contour and with a soft hand it can look really natural.

E Y E S & B R O W S
Since glitter was used way too much over Christmas I have ditched the eye shadow lately and opted for just some mascara to keep my eyes simple. I dug out my little mini Clinique High Impact Mascara from my collection and I have really been loving it. For brows I have been kicking it old school with my Soap and Glory Brow Archery in Brownie Points. To set my brows I am working my way through a pot of Sleek Clear Brow Gel which I totally forgot about for most of last year.

FOTN | Christmas Eve Smokey Eye On My Sister

Christmas Eve Smokey Eye On My Sister

For Christmas Eve I did my sisters makeup for her night out in town (while I stayed at home in my pjs watching Christmas films) and I loved how it turned out so much I've decided to write this post about it.

For her base I used a mix of two Mac Studio Fix foundations in the shades NC15 and C5.5 which create the perfect shade for my sister who as you can see is a few shades darker then me. To make sure her makeup lasted all night I used my Dior Primer which definitely done the trick.

To define her cheek bones I used a mixture of my W7 Honolulu bronzer and my trusty Benefit Hoola bronzer which together created the perfect simple contour, my sister is like me and doesn't go crazy with the contour, we both prefer to bronze ourselves. To bronze on top I used her No7 Perfectly Bronzed Duo Bronzer that I bought her for Christmas a few years ago and an old favourite Revolution Vivid Baked Bronzer in Rock On World

To create the smokey golden eye in the photos I used the brown shade in the Revolution Iconic Pro palette to define her crease and continued using darker brown shades in that palette and the Revolution Affirmation palette until her crease was defined enough and blended equally. I then used the Gold shimmer shade in the Affirmation palette on the inner half of her eye to make the look more party. I then added the L'Oreal Eye shadow in the shade Gold Mania on the inner corner to add a pop of gold to really brighten the eyes.

For my sisters eye brows we used Mac Eye brown pencil in Spiked and because my sister has amazing eye brows anyway I didn't need to do much to them.

Lastly for her lips of course we went for a red lip and I choose Charlotte Tilbury's Red Carpet Red for that night and it worked perfectly. To line her lips I used the Max Factor lip pencil in Red Blush.

W7 Advent Calendar Unwrapping

W7 Advent Calendar Unwrapping
So I have been a naughty girl and opened all of my W7 advent calendar today because I was too excited to wait. I'm not usually a impatient person but I was really excited for the lipsticks so gave into my impulses. You get 24 beauty products in the calendar and within that you get 1 mascara, 3 nail glitters, 5 nail polishes, 6 lip glosses and 8 lipsticks. I already have some w7 mascaras and palettes in my collection so I knew I would like their other products.

The mascara you get is the Eyelust mascara which is you have been around a long time you will remember I wrote about back at the beginning of last year. The wand is absolutely huge and gets every lash which makes it great for a quick application so I am really happy that I have a new one now.

I got 3 nail glitters in the calendar in the colours white, silver and multi coloured. I don't have many nail glitters in my collection so I am excited to use these and hope I don't make an absolute mess. I got 5 nail polishes which I am a big fan of already. I already have used two today to give me a festive vibe. W7 are definitely loving pink in this calendar as I got 3 different shades of pink and luckily I would wear all of them. I also got a bright red shade and a red glitter shade which I am wear on my nails now. They are very season appropriate and look amazing on. I am really impressed with the consistency of the glitter as I find that some glitter nail vanishes can need a good few layers to look remotely glittery, but with this glitter I only do my usual 2 layers.

I got 6 lip glosses and I am really impressed with these already after swatching them. I got two nude shades in the calendar and when I first looked at them I thought oww thats a bit rubbish but after I swatched them I fell in love. They are super pigmented and one is a light brown nude and the other is a more pinky nude. I was amazed by them so can't wait to wear them. I also got a clear lipgloss which you can never have enough off to throw in your bag and a really light baby sparkley pink which isn't normally my style but looks super lovely on the lips. I have quite big dark lips when they want to be and I thought the pinky vibe to the gloss wouldn't show up on my lips but it does and I absolutely love it. Lastly I have two dark pinky/browns which are right up my street and are very welcomed into my collection. The lighter shade have sparkles in it which is also a nice touch.

W7 Advent Calendar Unwrapping

Now for the main event, the real reason I opened all the calendar in one day and what I have been so excited to open... The lipsticks!! I got 8 lipsticks in a range of shades from a nude to a peace to a red to a dark mauve. All the shades are gorgeous and really wearable so I am super to wear these shades out especially the nude shade. You know how much I love nudes now. The thing I like most about the lipsticks and the nail polishes is the size of them. For someone with small lips and nails application can be tricky and messy but with a smaller product it is so much easier! Also the lipsticks are super easy to chuck one, two, all of them in my handbag in case I need them.

The last thing I got in my calendar is the Honolula bronzer which is super small in super cute packaging and looks like a great shade to contour. It is meant to be a copy of Benefits hoola but it reminds me more of the NYX eye shadow that everyone uses to contour. I am super excited to use this!

W7 Advent Calendar Unwrapping

So that is all I got in W7 advent calendar and I love it lots. I want to thank my sister who bought it for me for November cause she is legend. If you have any posts on other beauty calendars leave your links below!

Face Of The Day | Simple Everyday Gold Look

Face Of The Day | Simple Everyday Gold Look

I love a simple makeup routine and I posted this photo of my face products one day this week and you guys loved it so I thought I would do a quick post on the look and products for you. Now I have to admit I have totally forgot about my Rimmel foundations in the last few months opting for my new favourites (which are L'oreal True Match and Revlon Colour Stay for the record) so my Rimmel products have been feeling a little lonely lately. So for that day I decided to whip back out my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in Ivory. I knew I was going to do a tanned goldy look because I had fake tanned that morning and I tried my Soft Beige shade which was still too dark for me so I whipped that off and reapply it in the Ivory shade.

This foundation gives me a medium coverage and a super glowy look which doesn't look artificial which was just what I was looking for. I don't like foundations which look like your wearing foundation on your face so this product is great as it blends into the skin really well and makes it look even and fresh. I didn't want to use a powder bronzer on that day so I used my L'oreal True Match Liquid Illuminator in Golden Glow underneath my foundation and it just gave me a nice subtle golden glow on my cheeks and gave the impression that I had amazing cheekbones (thank you very much).

Face Of The Day | Simple Everyday Gold Look
Shades Left to Right: Buff, Camel, Sand, Dust, Chocolate, Topaz, Earth, Storm, Silk, Wave, Thunder and Onyx.

On the eyes I used my beloved W7 In The Buff palette which has some gorgeous autumnal shades in. I used Chocolate in the crease, then Wave in the outer edge and with Thunder placed on top. Then over the majority of the lid and blended into to darker shades I placed Dust which is a gorgeous gold.

Lastly on the lips I whacked on a old favourite of mine which compared to my other red lips wouldn't have got a mention on the blog this year so I am happy I wore it that day so it is shown some love this year. This Avon lipstick in the shade Chilli has been in my collection for many years and has worked so well so many times for me. It is really moisturising on the lips but now that it is a fair few years old now it has started to dry out which means it appears more matte on the lips which means it lasts longer (it might be a little be gross but I can't bear to part with it I can't find it anywhere!) My red lip just finishes off the look perfectly and it feels a big strange not rocking a red lip since I have been living in them this November. My top 3 red lipsticks for the party season are appearing on the blog this week so keep your eyes pealed!

Top 3 Palettes In My Collection

I have gone a little crazy for eye shadow palettes this last year and most days now I wear eye shadow which is a stark contrast to previous years when I didn't even know what eye shadow was. Recently I have felt naked without something on my eyes and in my collection I have three palettes which I can't put down. None of these will be a big surprise to any of you as these are all pretty popular products on the scene, although that may be an understatement for the last palette!

As you can see from the photo this palette has really been shown some love since it was purchased. For just £10 you get 3 matte and 9 shimmer shades which are so easy to wear and blend like a dream. I was really surprised by the quality of this palette when I first tried it as the quality of the product is really good. The shadows are quite buttery so blend really easily and the colour pay off is so good for price. Apart from the last 2 shades (sorry dark purples) I wear most of these shades on a daily basis and two shades have been hacked at as they are so beautiful. The three matte shades are perfect colours to work as bases for the rest of the shimmer shades and you can create some really pretty looks with this palette. When I use this palette my eye shadows lasts all day on my lids, I usually use a Maybelline colour tattoo as a base primer to make sure it lasts me till bedtime.

Once I knew the quality of W7 eye shadows were up there with some of the best, I invested in another palette when I came across one. This palette is perfect for smokey and glitter party looks, just like the previous palette the pay off and quality of the eye shadows is amazing for the price. I couldn't find this palette on the W7 website so I am unsure whether it has been discontinued or something? But I did find it on the Argos website of all places at half price so it is a right steal. The gold shades in this palette are beautiful and range from an intense dark gold to a subtle shimmer which could easily be used as a highlighter. Apart from the last black shade (I'm sorry but dark colour aren't for me) I love all the shades in the palette and enjoy playing around with it.

You may notice but this palette is exactly like the W7 palette I've just talked about, the W7 palette is a dupe for this gorgeous palette which is a steal at the current price, but there is nothing like having the original. If you can afford to buy these palettes then definitely go out and buy one because they are amazing. If you can't then the w7 palettes are great substitutes, they aren't as good as Urban Decay but they definitely are a good dupe.  The quality of the Urban Decay shadows are just amazing, there is no other words to use. They are so pigmented, blend so easily and last all day with or without a primer. This palette really packs a punch with its colours and glitter and YDK is my all time favourite shadow of all time.

W7 In The Nude and In The Buff Palettes

W7, In the buff, In the nude, eye shadows, palettes,

Recently I added two new eye shadow palettes to my collection and I have not been disappointed. The palettes are the W7 In The Nude and In The Buff Natural Nudes and I have seriously been impressed with them. I have had my eye on them for a while but I never knew where to purchase them as they aren't in Superdrug or Boots, then I discovered that they were sold in B&M and I couldn't resist trying them out.
The quality of the eye shadows are really good for the price of £9.99, most of the time you can get it even cheaper online or in B&M for around £4 which is even better. The eye shadows last all day on my eye lids (with or without a eye primer) which I was surprised about, the pigmentation of the eye shadows is rich and creamy meaning they blend in seamlessly every time. Because they are quite creamy I tend to use the smudge brush to apply the product and then use a fluffy brush to blend out the product or to blend two colours together.

W7, In the buff, In the nude, eye shadows, palettes,

The range of colours you get in the palettes is really good and you can create a range of looks from just one of the palettes. You get 12 colours in each of the palettes and they range from a skin coloured nude to a dark crease colour. My favourite out of the two palettes is the In The Nude palette which I got first, it has 9 shimmer shades and 3 matte shades. All three matte shades are perfect bases for all the shimmer shades that follow and are perfect for the spring/summer time. I have had a lot of use out of this palette as you can tell from the indents everywhere.

The In The Nude palette is more for the going out/ glowing winter time of the year. It includes 8 shimmer shades and 4 matte shades all perfect for smokey eyes. The second shade which is a gorgeous golden shimmer shade (which has the huge dent in) is my favourite shade from both the palettes. This palette I am excited to use during the Christmas party season because the gold shades are just beautiful and so pigmented.

The packaging of these palettes is very Urban Decay with their plastic case which makes them really easy to clean and hopefully indestructible (I'll keep you posted!)

Let me know if there are any other W7 products that are worth purchasing!

The Best Of 2015 | Make up

The best of makeup 2015, 2016, Benefit., clinque, collection, favourites, L'Oreal, Lord and berry, mua, Newlook, revolution, W7, Yearly,

2015 has been my year to experiment with makeup and I have enjoyed every moment of it. I have quite a few favoruites that I go back in between so narrowing it down to one was quite difficult. I have cheated once and picked two products.

My Favourite Primer of all time is the Revolution Ultra Face Base Primer. It is the best budget primer I have used yet and it leaves my skin so super soft I feel like a new born baby! -Yes it is that soft!

My favourite foundation of the year is the L'oreal Infallible 24 hour Matte foundation, I can never go wrong with this foundation. It covers all my redness on my cheeks but never looks cakey on the face. It is very light weight but still has great coverage.

My favourite concealer is the standard Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. I have spoke about this concealer numerous times and it has never left my make up bag, it covers anything and lasts all day.

I have two bronzers on this list that I couldn't pick between because they do two very different things. The Benefit Hoola Bronzer is a all round perfect summer product that suits my skin tone really well and gives me a great summer glow. My other product is the Clinque Chubby Sculpting Stick which I love to use on comfy or no make up days to give my face some definition. It is also a great contour product for nights out.

My favourite blush product from the year has to be The W7 Honey Queen Homecomb Blush. I am not the biggest blush fan but when I do wear a little I like to wear this mix of blush colours together on the apples of my cheeks. It is more of a darker blush so it doesn't look too much on my face.

I have become a much bigger fan of highlighter this year and I have quite a few that I go in between which are both powder and cream. The highlighter that I have been reaching for the most these past few weeks is the Newlook Baked Highlighter in 93 Gold. This is the perfect cross between a bronzey glow look which I have been opting for quite a lot lately.

My favourite eyebrow product has to be the MUA Power Brow Highlight and Shape. It is so easy to use and you can't go wrong with it. The brow nib is the perfect shade for my hair and the highlighter is a great add on to define your brows.

My favourite eye palette has to be the first palette I bought this year, the Revolution Redemption Essentials Matte 2 Palette. This year has been my year to discover the wonders of eye shadows, before this year I had never touched a eye shadow and now I buy a new one every month (much to Cal's dismay). The Revolution palette is my favorite because it has everything you need to do a simple day look or a ramped up night look. I particularly like to use this palette for smokey eye looks.

I haven't worn much eyeliner this year as I prefer the look of mascara by itself as it looks softer and more wearable, but on them days or nights were I have wanted to go a bit more bolder I have used the Lord + Berry Kohl liner. It is really easy to use and great to smudge out to create a bolder effect.

My favourite mascara of the year is the L'oreal Volume Million Lashes, my mascara collection has grown considerable this year but when I want to use something I know for sure will work, I pick this mascara. It is really good at separating lashes and opening out your eyes.

I found it really hard to choose a favourite lip product but in the end my love of Newlook nude lips trumped all my other lipsticks. My all time favourite nude lipstick of the brand is the Camel shade. I wrote a whole blog post all about the lipstick which you can read here.

You can read my post from last year here. Comment below with links to your end of year favourite posts, I love reading them for future reference when i'm next make up shopping!

October Loving

Monthly, favourites, October, Benefit, Hoola, Revoluton, redemption, eyeshadow, palette, W7, MUA, brow, real techniques, Newlook,
It is finally November!
I have already decorated my room in Christmas decorations and got half my Christmas presents. I am so prepared this year! I have been loving quite a few make up products this month and for once, I have a hefty list of favourites to go through. Yassss

My first favourite is the Revolution Makeup Redemption Essential Mattes 2 Palette. For the first time in 21 years I am wearing eye shadow and it feels so good. I have always hid away from eye shadows because I didn't know how to apply them properly and I had always thought my eye area was too small to do anything fancy. That was until my sister convinced me to purchase this palette that she swore by. It has a mixture of soft nudes and dark browns and taupes to choose from and they are all matte. I have already used this palette for my Halloween make up and on a daily basis and I love it so far. Watch this space for more eye shadows to make an appearance!

Something that I have owned for a long while and not used before is this Real Techniques eye shadow brush which worked amazing when I done some smokey eyes for my Halloween look. The brush fibres are super soft and make blending the easiest thing to do. The size and shape of the brush is also great at fitting into my super small eye lids. It is definitely a brush that I would keep in my make up bag for everyday.

Monthly, favourites, October, Benefit, Hoola, Revoluton, redemption, eyeshadow, palette, W7, MUA, brow, real techniques, Newlook,

Sticking with the eye theme, my next favourite is the W7 Absolute Lashes which is widely known as the Benefit They're Real dupe. I have wrote a post on the mascara already comparing the two mascaras. Roll on two months and I am still obsessed with the product. After curling my eye lashes this mascara is perfect at making my lashes look super long and spread out. I find it lasts all day and the most important thing is... it is easy to take off at the end of the night with micellar water. That is the dream! It is a bargain at £3.99!

My fourth favourite is the MUA Power Brow Shape and Highlight pencil in dark brown. It is the perfect colour for my eye brow hair and has a nifty little highlighter on the opposite end. I have never been a big fan of brow pencils before now, I have always opted for powders but now I am converted. I love doing my eye brows everyday now!

Monthly, favourites, October, Benefit, Hoola, Revoluton, redemption, eyeshadow, palette, W7, MUA, brow, real techniques, Newlook,

My last two makeup favoruites are things that I have been using together and they work so well together. The bronzer I have spoke about so many times before and I am still using it everyday over all my other bronzer. It is the famous Benefit Hoola Bronzer which everyone and their mother loves. I have been using this W7 angled contour brush to apply it and it is the best contour brush I have ever used. The fibers are super soft and the shape of the brush makes contouring sooooo much easier, it is the perfect brush for beginners. Plus at just £5 it is a bargain too!

My last favourite is a bit random but none the less I have been crazy for them all October. They are my Newlook Joggers, really really random I know but they are so super comfy and fit perfectly even though I am half the size of a normal human. I have a grey and a black pair and I have wore them to death this month. As soon as I get home I put them on, on my days off I wear them at home, I even wear them to bed when its really cold. It must be love!

Let me know what you have been loving this month! I need some new things to try :)

W7 Absolute Lashes | Benefit They're Real Dupe

Isn't finding a good dupe for an expensive brand the best feeling ever? As much as I love some of Benefits products, I don't practically love some of the price tags. Especially when a mascara is around £20 and I wear it probably about 2-3 times a week. Even though I am not a big mascara wearer (due to plain laziness) I do like to have really good mascaras in my collection, especially for them special occasions.

My Simple Everyday Make up Routine

Simple everyday makeup bourjois rimmle l'oreal revolution w7
My bright idea to take photos in the garden while the weather is amazing back fired just a little. At least you can recognise the packaging. :)

I have been very un-adventurous with my make up recently thanks to a few factors (the main one being I am enjoying a few extra minutes in bed) and so I have noticed a few products that I have been reaching for without fail during the last few weeks. This make up look is very simple, quick and easy to do which is why I have been using this routine so frequently.

For my base I have been mixing between two different products, my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in Ivory or Soft Beige depending on whether I have fake tanned and my Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream in Ivory. No matter what my skin is doing in the morning these products always work for me and give me a nice even base. For concealer I use my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection in the shades Fair or Cool Medium (depending on my base shade).

For my cheeks I have been loving two products that I am sure I have spoke about before because I love them so much. My W7 Chunky Bronzer is a god send! The perfect shade to bronze my cheeks and fore head and so easy to apply that I'm done in a few seconds. The second is my Revolution Vivid Baked Bronzer in Golden Days which is a gorgeous shade and looks really natural on the skin.

For my eyes I have three products that keep me looking awake on a daily basis. I use my Mac eye kohl liner in shade Teddy to open up my eyes and then I use my favourite eye lash curlers to curl my stupidly straight lashes. If I still need something to make my eye pop I use my L'oreal waterproof Volume Million Lashes and then my make up is done.

A look at W7 mascaras

I was sorting through my mascaras trying to find a waterproof one, which I found I was seriously lacking in, when I found that I had accumulated a number of W7 mascaras without even realising, and that they were actually my favourite mascaras to use.

I have three mascaras to talk about today which are all under £2 (from B&M) and work just as well as my more expensive mascaras. They are all in similar size packaging with just one difference. The first mascara I ever picked up from W7 is not made of plastic like the other packaging it is more of a rubbery material which does get dirty really easily ( as you can see in the photos).

Apart from that I love all of these mascaras and use them all for different reasons. None of the wands are the same shapes and are all extra large which I really like. My favourite wand is the Eyelust mascara as it is really big and gets all my lashes. The Showing Out mascara has an even larger wand which makes my lashes so big. The Lashtastic mascara is the smallest wand of them all but has small fibres in it that attaches to your lashes and makes look much fuller and thicker.

I find when I am using these mascaras that I don't have to deal with any annoying clumping which is the most annoying thing in the world ( hands up if you agree with me!).

I think these mascaras are so good for the affordable price they are and I do find that I tend to reach for these mascaras more than any of my others, and I have quite a rediculous number of mascaras at the moment.
