This is a follow on post from the Working From Home Wardrobe Edit post that previously went up.
Finding my way with dressing for work while at home has been a journey and now that I have a routine for the week and feel some what adjusted to my new 'normal', I have found my home working style.
From my previous post I mentioned items which I was finding the easiest to wear at home to work in which I found made me feel productive, but also super comfy. I have a selection of working from home outfits to show you plus two bank holiday weekend outfits as a bonus. All of these outfits first appear on my Instagram account so make sure you head over there to see my daily outfits first. Enjoy!

It can be quite daunting thinking about all the items you want to invest money in for the long run and then totalling up how much it would cost to invest in them items... I find that investment pieces can be something that you gradually add to your collection when and wear you can, and there is nothing wrong with buying non-investment pieces in the mean time.
Following on from that thought, I wanted to do a round up of items, clothing and non clothing, which I like to spend money on and save money on. I don't have loads of money to spend on myself, I have a mortgage and would like to have children in the near future so spending vast amounts of money on myself just isn't a priority. I hope this helps people who are trying to figure out what they want to spend their hard money on but don't know where to start.

Where I like to spend
- Skincare
- Moisturiser - Apart from the Sukin Facial Moisturiser which I am a big fan of, I mainly only use Clinique or Origins moisturiser and the main reason for this is simply - my skin like them much better. I have tried a few drugstore moisturisers but 9/10 times my skin does not agree with them so naturally, I am going to listen to my skin.
- Eye Cream - Since I started wearing eye cream a few years back (not as soon as I should have mind you) I have always stuck to the Clinique All About The Eyes Cream and I have never found anything to rival it. I tried to find a pot of eye cream from Boots when I ran out and all I could find was tube eye creams. What is up with that?
- Outerwear
- Outerwear is generally a higher price point because of what it is made of and the amount of material used but I do like to spend a little extra on my outerwear to make sure it lasts me for many many years. You end up wearing your outerwear 10x more than any other item in your wardrobe and it completely covers your outfit so it needs to be something that works with everything and stands the time. I also like to spend a little more on a outerwear piece because i have a select collection of coats and jacket rather than having a large collection to choose from.
- Footwear
- Footwear is around the same thinking as my outerwear collection, i have a few key pieces of footwear that I rotate depending on the season so i like to invest in shoes that will last me more than one season. I still have some shoes from Primark and Newlook which have lasted me a long while but I do like to go into TKMax and see what more brands I can get my hands on.
- Jewellery - excluding earrings
- I used to love the 'costume' jewellery that I used to buy in Clair's Accessories when I was younger but now I have ground up I much prefer the more simple diligent pieces. I find to buy a piece of jewellery that will last years without the chain breaking, you do need to invest a little into the piece.
- Handbags
- Again this is very similar to my thinking process about footwear and outerwear, a good hand bag can last you so many years and work for any occasion. I am someone who bangs and bashes their handbag around all days so i need one which is going to last more than a few months before breaking.
- Kitchen Equipment
- Strange one maybe to put in but a very important one for people deciding to move out! When im talking about kitchen equipment I'm talking washing machine, slow cooker, dish washer - all of the equipment which can cost a lot to replace at the wrong time. When i need to buy something for the kitchen i do like to go by certain brands which i know last a long time and have great customer service. My favourites if you wanted to know are Russel Hobbs and Samsung.
Where I like to save
- Home Decor
- As much as i love looking in the white company... it just isn't going to happen. The price some brands charge for home decor is crazy considering Home Bargains and Primark do some amazing items which are similar and more than half the price! I feel like only a few years ago it wasn't seen as cool to buy home bits from shops like Home Bargains and then in the space of a year or two, everyone is raving about their products and I can see why.
- Makeup
- If you have been around for a long time than you will know that i have always been a drugstore makeup girl right from the beginning and nothing has really changed. Although i like to spend a bit more on my skincare, I find most makeup works on a good base and I do have my favourites. Rimmel, Revolution and Kiko are to name a few which i have stuck with for many years. I have a few higher end products in my collection but the majority of it is from Boots.
- Earings
- I couldn't count for you the number of earrings I have upstairs, the number would carry on for a long while and along the years I have picked up big packs of multiple design earrings from Newlook and Primark and I have never had a problem with them. If you have sensitive ears than maybe ignore this point but i would rather spend £10 on a pack of 50 earrings them £50 on one pair.
- Jersey Basics
- This might make people gasp in horror but I buy all my basics from Newlook and H&M because you can't go wrong with them. Most of my wardrobe is made up of basics from H&M and Newlook and i have had some for years.
- Jeans
- I know a lot of people like to invest in their jeans and have the one perfect pair but I still have some jeans that I bought from Newlook about 7 years ago and they still look perfect. I find that as long as you wash them right, you shouldn't really have a problem. Always remember to go for a smaller size so when they naturally give, they aren't too big!
- Nails
- If you have never tried the fake nails from Primark what have you been doing all your life? A full set of acrylics can set you back £30 ish and to have them removed cost an extra £10 for the removal? Primark sell amazing stick on nails for just £1. When i tell people this they do look at me like OMG you must be that stingy but once i show them my hands with the fake nails on, they can't believe how good they look. Honestly if you have never tried them give them a go, it will only cost you a £1! The glue you get with them is also amazing!
- Cleaning Supplies
- Another random one but the amount some people spend on cleaning supplies is ridiculous. I buy all my cleaning supplies from Aldi or Home Bargains if certain things are on offer. I find with cleaning products... it all does the same thing!
- Food Shop
- Ever since I moved into my own home I have shopped with Aldi and I love the food they make. I have converted so many people to Aldi and it is amazing the amount of money you can save on a big shop. Yes it has some set backs like the packing is really annoying but I tend to open all my bags in the trolley and throw them into the bags - rebel I know! Again i feel like it is now cool to shop at Aldi thanks to people on YouTube recording their 'weekly Aldi food shop'.
Who loves autumn clothing? Yes me too!
I have a few items which I have been wearing non stop this autumn and I thought I would share with you these items in case you are missing them in your wardrobe. I will try and list all the items for you but for any which are too old to link, I will similar items for you!
Petite Longline Camel Coat
I recently picked up this coat in October/November when Newlook were having a sale on their petite range and I picked up the Camel and Black version to add to my jacket collection for autumn winter and I have worn both non stop since they arrived. The camel version has to be my favourite of the two because the colour is super flattering and my go to outfit at the minute is some black trousers with a black roll neck and the camel coat on top. Simple but classic!
Black High Waisted Leather Look Leggings
I can't tell you how many times I have worn this leggings in the last few months, I have even started wearing them to work because they are so comfy and easy to style with anything. I love to pair them with a long black jumper and the camel Newlook coat on top and I look really styled but with minimal effort required. It is now a running joke with my family whenever I wear them now one of them will say 'she's in them leggings again...'
Every H&M shirt I own
Sorry I could not pick just one of the H&M shirts for this list because I love all them equally. They look amazing and hang really well of your body and even after a number of wears and washes, they still look brand new. At the minute while the weather has dropped I am putting a big baggy jumper over these shirts so that the collar is poking out and I love the preppy look of it.
Black Studded Velvet Leggings (similar)
I picked up these velvet studded leggings last year in M&S and I absolutely love them! In all honesty their quality is shocking and half of the studs have fallen off but I actually like the look of the random stud now. Most of the studs have fallen off over my bottom and on the inside of my legs so it actually looks like this is meant to be the design. Aside from the flaw in design, I love how comfy the leggings are and they can make a plain outfit so much more interesting than if I was wearing just some black skinny jeans. They are also really insulated for the colder months which is a bonus.
Grey Fine Jumper
I have an array of jumpers in my wardrobe and everyone gets a lot of love but I have to say one H&m grey jumper does get a little bit more daylight then the rest. I picked this up in summer actually when H&M were clearing their autumn stock from the previous year. I had the best day because I walked into the store and the place was covered with knitwear on every rail, all new stock for the current season, and then I walked to the back of the store and there was 5 rails of sale jumpers! I think I picked 3 or 4 jumpers up for £25 and then I got a discount for being a member so it was the best day! Anyway back to the post, If I am ever in doubt of what to wear one day, I slip this jumper on with any bottom and I am good to go. I have never been much of fan of the colour grey but actually it is the most popular colour in my knitwear collection so it must actually be a favourite!

I am still searching for items to add to my wardrobe to complete my aim to have a capsule wardrobe, I don't follow all the rules and I certainly have more items then the recommended capsule wardrobe but you can interpret it in your own way.
There are a few things which I am currently looking for to add to my wardrobe which I think will be
a welcome addition.
Blue Straight Jeans
I still don't have a pair of straight jeans in my life and the urge to buy a pair is growing daily. I can't justify buying another pair of jeans when I have 4 pairs of blue jeans already. I definitely need to declutter my jeans first before I purchase a pair but where to buy them from is another thing stopping me from purchasing them. I found this pair from Newlook which I really like the shape and colour off but I am slightly funny with jeans so the hassle of buying a pair which don't fit and returning them is putting me off. What are your recommendations for blue straight jeans? I have tried every Primark near me and I can't find their vintage straight jeans.
Black Blazer
Another staple in most peoples wardrobe which I am still lacking in is a black blazer. I know I would get a lot of wear out of one and I love the look of a black blazer, roll neck and a pair of blue jeans. This Topshop one is a lovely boxy fit with a tortoise button detail.
Ditzy Dress
I am seriously lacking in cute dresses I can wear with tights and boots in the winter so I did have a look on the Shein website this morning (which is currently having a black Friday sale) and purchased a few bits to try. I picked up this black and one collar dress which is baggy and flowy and hopefully flattering. I am having a sort of body moment at the minute and I was to stay away from tight fitted clothing that makes me look pregnant... Another dress that I picked up is this Ditsy Babydoll Dress which again is black and one but how many black and white dresses can you have? I will do a review of the order once it arrives as I'm sure you will be as interested in the quality as I am!
Graphic Tees
I have never really been into graphic or band tees but recently I have found myself being drawn towards them and I watched a clothing haul by Bang On Style and I became obsessed with her wolf tee shirt so I definitely want to add some into my collection now.
Patterned Tights
I may regret this and look about 12 but I am loving the look of a plain black dress and patterned tights this autumn and I would like to try the look soon. I am someone who loves a plain outfit so the tights will jazz it up a tiny bit and hopefully make a whole new range of outfits. I will let you know how I get on with this one...

Although I am starting to now see the benefits of investing in clothing items, I am still a bargain shopper at heart. There are some things I splurge on and some things I save on (post to follow very soon!)
Over the years I have found some lovely pieces on eBay which I have ended up wearing for years afterwards. There are pit falls when buying from eBay which I have had my fair share of over the years but I have two items which I have loved since last year and two items which have been in my wardrobe since April time and again, I just love. All the items are great quality and wash really well. All links and sizes will be at the end of the post!
Starting with the items which have been in rotation in the wardrobe all spring summer, some basic jersey t-shirts. At the start of the year I didn't have any logo tops in my wardrobe mainly because I felt they made me look young and boyish while wearing them. Then I really started to like the whole t-shirt and midi skirt vibe and that started a love affair with them. I picked up three t-shirts off eBay, all which I have been wore several time during spring summer.
Call me a basic bitch but I loved these Vogue tops when I first saw them and thought a black and white version would be perfect for my wardrobe. I really love to wear the black and gold version with black skinny jeans and gold jewerelly where as I like to pair the white and black version with light blue denim. Both make a otherwise plan outfit look a bit more put together.
Then to add a carve ball in, I decided to pick up this black makeup design which I love! With an all black outfit, especially some black joggers and a cardigan. I think it would make the outfit look like I made some effort, when really I've just rolled out of bed.
Now we have two jumpers which I wasn't expecting to like so much but the quality of them is above my standard for eBay. First up is this slightly cropped black, cream and brown patchwork jumper which has a high neck which I love and looks great with some black skinny jeans. I really like to throw this jumper on with black jeans and brown boots for work and it just looks like I have my sh*t together. Since condensing my wardrobe I have really become drawn to the neutral palette because the colours are so easy to style together and this jumper is a neutral lovers dream.
My last item is this longer fitting black and cream patchwork jumper. Like the previous one it is not too thick so perfect for the start of autumn when the sun is still shinning but there is a breeze. I do think you can't go wrong with a black and cream jumper, I normally wear this with black skinny's (shock) and some heeled black boots as I find being short, this makes my legs look longer with the length of the jumper. This jumper does have breathable holes throughout so it can make choosing a bra colour tricky as the front of the jumper is black and the back of the jumper is cream. I tend to opt for the black and have it pocking out the black.
I definitely do not need anymore knitwear or jersey but I am following a few things on eBay right now just in case I find a use for them in my wardrobe. Right now I think my wardrobe is pretty much set for autumn bar one plain black roll neck jumper....
I recently watched Emma Hill's YouTube video where she showed you everything she bought on eBay which was second hand. I have had bad experiences buying second hand on eBay but after watching her video, I am intrigued to try again. If I do I will definitely show you what I bought and if it was worth it.
Have you found any gems on eBay recently? Leave a comment below!

Since the start of the year, i have really honed in on my packing skills meaning i can go away for a few days with a small bag. I used to throw everything into my bag just in case and end up with some much stuff that i didn't need.
Cal and I have taken several weekend away trips this year so i have had loads of practice at packing and i haven't made a wrong move yet. This weekend we are heading to the seaside with some of our friends so i thought i would let you pack with me, just in case you need some packing inspiration! I am sucker for packing videos, blog posts and photos on Pinterest. I am fascinated in capsule packing.
For content i am going away for 3 nights and 2 days and the weather is quite bright with a high of 22 during the day and 9 during the early morning/evening.
C L O T H I N G

2 pairs of socks
1 pj set
1 pair of black boots
1 pair of white brogues
S K I N C A R E
Sukin night moisturiser Simple moisturiser
Pixie glow tonic
Garniner micellar water
Clinique mini face cleanser
Lots and lots of cotton pads because they are life

To some people this might seem like a lot for a weekend away, while other people might be wondering how i am only bringing these items. I would defineily call this a capsule pack, considering i can fit this all in a small bag or the smaller side of the mini suitcase which Cal and i share for most weekends.
Let me know if there is anything you think i have missed out, or something you can't travel without!

How is it April already? Before we know it it will be the end of August and we all will be wondering where the summer went! Since we last spoke i have had a lovely birthday weekend down in Brighton where one day it was sunny and hot and the next it was miserable and raining. Spring can be such a headache when it comes to work to wear.
I have been completed engulfed but the whole capsule wardrobe frame of mind and thanks to Anna from the Anna Edit, my wardrobe is considerably smaller than it was a year ago. Since reducing the size of my wardrobe i have found that i now love all my clothes instead of forgetting about some pieces which were hidden behind the piles. I still have a few favourite pieces which get a little more love then the rest and today i am going to take you through the 5 items i know i will be continuously rotating over the spring season.
First up is my trusty mustard Zara faux leather jacket (similar) which i picked up in Barcelona 3 years ago. I can literally pair this jacket with anything and it looks amazing, especially if the outfit is a little plan jane (which you know is my favourite). Considering i have worn it so many times over the years, it still looks bloody brand new, well done Zara. I love everything about this jacket from the colour which really suits my skin tone, to the cut and style of the cropped body. I haven't been able to wear this jacket since last summer because it has been so cold so i can't wait to whip it back out.
Next up is my Asos Mini Denim Skirt (link) which i have been kinda obsessed with over the winter period with thick black tights so i am kinda excited to pair it with more lighter tights in the warmer weather. I find with this skirt that no matter what kind of day i am having, i feel amazing in the skirt. I can try on my whole wardrobe and feel really fat and frumpy but when i put on this skirt with some tights and a black roll neck, i feel good again. It is kinda like a safety blanket, if i'm having a fat day i wear my skirt, if i wanna look rocky i put on the skirt, if im cold but i want to look cute i put on the skirt. I definitely know i wont be wearing the skirt during the summer months because i would have a check slip every five minutes so i want to give it even more love before it gets too warm.
My next item is something that people who know me in real life would say i wear about 90% of the time. I love a good dungaree dress and i have four denim styles and 1 cord style, don't judge me on the cord one it is super cute. With dungaree dress they work with any weather whether it is summer or winter so they are items will you can keep in your wardrobe throughout the year. I love weather them with tights and jumpers but my favourite way to style them is with a basic t-shirt underneath with sandals. I get hot and flustered quite easy so when it is hot i need to be free and breath and dungaree dresses are great for that because they give you so much room to breath without making you look like your wearing a bin bag. This Newlook dungaree dress (petite) is probably my favourite because it is a little bit longer than my others and is super baggy so perfect on a fat day.
My fourth item which will be a must during the spring season is my Primark mom jeans (similar). I love these so much i have them in two different sizes because like I've said before, i sometimes have fat days. The last thing i want to do when the weather is lovely and spring like outside is pull on a pair of skinny jeans, it just doesn't feel right so i know at the weekends if i am going to be wearing jeans, it will be this pair with a tight crop top and my mustard jacket. It is just a easy casual look and super comfy,
My last spring staple is this Jacket Willis midi dress. I have never shopped in Jack Willis (link) before because basically i am a high street girl at heart and i cant imagine paying so much for clothing, but when i walked past my local JW i noticed this dress in the window and it was reduced from £79 to £25 so i couldn't walk by. This was exactly the kind of dress i was looking for and i didn't have anything like it in my collection. I bought it with the intention of wearing it with a brown belt and brown boots and i definitely will be this spring.

I'm pretty sure with these five items i am set for the next few months outfit wise.
There are a few bits that i want to add to my spring capsule wardrobe for spring which i will be in another post for you.
Dressing for work can be a hassle and a bore if you work in an office and have to abide by a dress code. Knowing how to dress for your body shape is so important for everyday but sometimes people don't take into account this when they dress for work. I am a pear shape so I have a smaller top half then my bottom half and I have a small waist but bigger hips. Finding office clothes to fit that body shape can be hard when most black trousers look hideous on a big bum and short legs. I've picked out some of my favourite items to wear to an office which look great on pear shape bodies.
Culotte trousers & Cigarette trousers
I love how culotte trousers look on me because they are super smart but don't make me look even more shorter than I am. I have small ankles so I like to show them off and these trousers do that perfectly. They are normally high waist as well so they really highlight my skinny waist but hide my muffin top.
With cigarette trousers as well they fit my short legs perfectly and are tight where you need them to be down your legs. They balance out my body and with a crisp white shirt it looks super smart. I love tucking shirts into these trousers and layering them up with blazers or jumpers to complete my look.
Peplum and Tube Skirts
I have always been a big fan of peplum skirts on a day to day basis so these are a perfect item to have in your work wear rotation. The length of the skirt makes my legs look longer then they actually are so they balance my body out. Again I pair these with a crisp shirt that I tuck in to the waist to highlight my waist and make me look smaller. These are great when it is warm in the office and your skin needs to breath. Your skin isn't covered in loads of layers and you still look smart and respectable.
Tight Dresses and Patterned Skirts
During the summer a smart dress can be a life saver when it is unbearably hot in the office. It is simple, smart, easy to style and looks great with flats and heeled shoes. Finding the right tight dress for a pear shape can be hard so I tend to drift towards the more thinner fabrics so that they hug my body better, I find stiff material dresses don't show off my shape as well.
Pattern skirts are a most for me during the winter season I have always been a mini skirt kind of girl. I pair these skirts with a plain long sleeve black top and black thick tights to make sure I am covered up for work. The only thing you have to watch out for is that you don't go crazy with the pattern skirts that are out in the shops. Stick to muted colours and patterns so the skirt isn't too distracting at work.
Coloured Trousers and Shirts
When shopping for work wear you can fall down the hole of the black and white rabbit hole and end up with a super plan wardrobe. Having a pear shape body means I tend to stay away from patterned or light trousers because they throw off my balance. So to add some colour into your wardrobe stick to darker colours and nothing too nude or skin coloured unless you want to look naked... Pairing any colour bottom with a white shirt again makes the outfit look smart and simple and depending on the season you have the choice of short sleeve or long sleeve.
All images are from Pinterest in my Work Outfit board which you can click the link to go to.
Writing this post has given me a huge urge to go work shopping, too bad i don't like anything in the shops at the moment and i am on a spending ban. Hopefully once the weather changes i might find some nice new pieces to rotate.

I realised this morning while getting ready that i had really been neglecting my style as of late. I was choosing cosy clothing over fashion most days and although feeling comfortable and cosy is very important, my outfits were lacking style and smartness at work. This is what lead me to come home, stick on my pjs and scan the internet for clothing on a Monday night. It just so happened that my Boohoo items are reduced which is a treat.
B O O H O O
Sooo starting with Boohoo I ordered this black cold shoulder knitted jumper £11.20). I thought i could tuck this into my black high waist jeans to wear for work with my long brown boyfriend cold over the top. I used to be obsessed with cold shoulder tops at one stage but i guess i fell out of love with them when they seemed to be absolutely everywhere. Hopefully with it being black it will give the allusion that i haven't just eaten a box of mince pies...
Next up i have a different risky choice that i thought i would take the plunge with. I love the look of raw hemmed black mini denim skirts (£9.80) but always thought my thighs would dominate the look. Now we are basically hitting winter hard now with the cold weather i thought now was the perfect time to try it. I imagine it would look super cute with some black thick tights and a bagging jumper tucked in at the front. Now it could look absolutely hideous but at least i will have tried it. Wish me luck.
If every girl doesn't have a long sleeved stripy top (£8.40) in their wardrobe then i will eat my own arm. Over the last few months all my stripy tops seemed to have disappeared into thin arm so i thought it was about time i purchased a new staple. I already know i am going to wear this non stop with some light blue denim and ripped jeans. I just need to make sure i don't wear it to death!
Lastly from Boohoo i picked up this very festive multi coloured tinsel jumper £15.40 which i think will look super cute with some black jeans and black boots for a chilled night out during this season. If i ever get invited out after about October, you will see me in a jumper and jeans over having my legs out every single time. At the grand old age of 24 my bare leg days are over apart from the one Christmas party i attend! I like that it is cropped and will hopefully look like i have made an effort with my outfit.
A S O S
Now onto Asos which is fast become my favourite online clothing brand by far. I just find the website really easy to navigate and they do sizes that other brands fail with. I used to buy jeans from Newlook and roll them up or buy jeans from Topshop and pay a fortune. Now i buy all my jeans from Asos because they fit my properly and they don't break the bank!
I firstly bought these Ridley black high waist ripped knee jeans for £30. I am in love with my black Ridley plain jeans which i wear mostly everyday to work and i really wanted some ripped versions for the weekend. Who cares about cold knees anyway? I got a waist 28 and length 30 so they should hopefully fit my perfectly. crosses fingers
I got a bit jean happy and tonight i think and bought another pair of Ridley jeans for £28 but this time in light blue. I used to have a pair of light blue skinny jeans from Newlook which i wore to death, they literally ripped everywhere, but i never replaced them. I really wanted some light jeans to wear with my dark jumpers to balance me out a bit. My outfits are quite plain most of the time so a little bit of light denim could do wonders. Plus the colour of the jeans is lavender blue and that is just the cutest.
Lastly for the haul i bought this shock plain grey long sleeved crew neck jumper from Pull and Bear for £9.99. I thought this would be another perfect jumper to pair with my checked mini skirts for work because it looks like it fits really very and wont be baggy in the wrong places. Also i think that would look super cute and plain with the light denim jeans i bought tucked in at the front.
So that is my whole haul with a grand total of £112.79. I know i definitely wont be keeping all the items and will most probably end up only keeping less than half but hopefully i like some. I have got them all next day delivery because i am an inpatient person by the time you are reading this on Tuesday hopefully they will have arrived by them. I'll make sure to post some photos of my outfits i make with the items so make sure you are following my on instagram! I'm really trying my best to actually post photos on there instead of just staring at everyone else's!
Let me know what yo bought the black Friday / cyber Monday sales! x
I love shopping for winter clothes and Asos is fast becoming one of my favourite clothing brands recently. It all started off when I tried their black skinny jeans, they actually fit my legs and don't go baggy. How did I never know this??
You can buy most brands on the asos website so a quick browses can be literal. I've narrowed down my wish list to these four jumpers which i am living for right now. Mustards and dark blacks/purples are my favourite colours at this time of year so my wish list is full of them.
First up we have a jumper which I'm pretty sure I had about four years ago but sadly it went all bobbly and horrible and I threw it out. I love stripes so much, they are so easy to wear and make it look like i have style when really, i'm the biggest plan Jane around. I really like the mustard on the top section of the jumper as well because it isn't your typical stripe jumper. I also know that the sleeves are tight and the body is baggy which is the best style of jumper.
Who doesn't love a furry jumper? I feel a little like a chicken hatching a egg... but the cosy feeling you get when you wear them is worth it. I love this burgundy cropped flurry jumper. It i could pull off the white jeans I would totally copy the picture. Sadly my thighs would look massive so I stick to dark colours.
I am really into what i call the 'London adult look' at the minute totally inspired by Emma Hill. The look is light blue denim and jumpers and blazers, like the photo above. This black off the shoulder jumper is right up my street and perfect just to throw on in a hurry.
Lastly i have the perfect jumper to stick on with all my mini skirts and tights this winter. I find roll necks really flattering on me, especially when i have my long bob hair style. This doesn't look too chunky as well so hopefully i wont sweat in thus jumper while i'm out and about probably shopping for more clothes.

Thanks to my sister I have the eBay buying bug!
I have been a fan of eBay fashion for years now and recently I have forgotten how good the fashion actually is. I deleted the app off my phone in the last year or so because I was getting addicted and surprise surprise i'm addicted again!
I find the summer time is the best time to buy fashion on eBay because you can get away with cheaper fabrics and designs because you live in dresses, whereas a rubbish jumper is more noticeable and annoying to wear.
There are so many nice dresses and playsuits on the site at the moment so today I am showing you some of the pieces that have caught my eye, with links of course.
Starting off with these gorgeous dresses we have this red wine bardot maxi dress with the floral print (link) . What I really like about this dress is the ribbed material over the bust because hopefully that will mean it doesn't fall down. Then we have this super cute yellow pokadot jumpsuit (link) which looks like a bardot but it has has tiny straps. The legs look cropped which is perfect for me because I am so short so hopefully it will fit my legs. Then we have this cute short bardot button up red dress (link) which would look really nice during this heat wave we are currently having with some tan accessories.
So far I have bought 4 items off eBay so I have restrained myself! Everything else is currently sitting in my watching feed waiting for payday to come back around.

Next up I have this sunflower two piece which I am obsessed with (link) . Both the top and the skirt are a ribbed material so it is guaranteed to fit you and not fall down. I find dresses/skirts like this are the comfiest things to wear especially when it is this hot. Then we have this thin simple button down midi dress (link) which is all over Instagram at the moment. I have a few of this style of dress already and they are really easy to just throw on and go. Next we have the first of many white and blue pin strip dresses (link) , you will see after this post how obsessed I am with them! This one has a nice slit on the front making this dress perfect for holiday, which reminds me I really need a holiday! Lastly for this photo is this super cute short white button down dress top which has a cute peplum flare at the bottom (link) . I can see myself wearing this as a house dress when I want to feel comfy but cute.
Last but not least we have these four great outfits. First up is this thin button down dress with pockets (link) , which I already have in black, pink and mint green. They do come up big for their size so I would size down if it takes your fancy. I wore the pink one for a day out walking round Sandringham House in Norfolk one sunny weekend and it was the perfect outfit with a brown bag and sandals.
Next up we have this white and blue striped jumpsuit with a tie on the back (link) . Blue and white patterns are my favourite colour combo as you can see, I just think they suit everyone and they can look smart and casual at the same time. Sticking with the stripe theme we next have this baggy stripe jumpsuit in a jersey material (link) . This would be the perfect lazy Sunday or traveling outfit wouldn't it? Most of the time my style is all about comfort so you would normally see me in this rather than something sexy and smart. The last item I have for you today is this blue and white stripe (shock) jumpsuit with a bow on the front (Link) I know I have an obsession I am seeking help I promise. What I like about this jumpsuit is it has elastic on the back so I know which ever size jumpsuit I go for it will most likely fit me.

Starting with the skincare I have been on the hunt for some new skincare products to change up my routine because my currently not very friendly and my old routine wasn't working. I decided to take it back basic and re purchase some of my old favourites which served me well before hand. First of all I re purchased the Lush Ultrabland Cleanser which I used to live on back in 2015. I went through about three tubs of the cleanser at the time and at the time my skin loved it and definitely was in better condition than what it is in now, but then I ran out of my last tub and decided to branch out and try other cleansers like the Clinique Take The Day Off balm. I still have that balm in my collection but I still love but I tend not to reach for it on a daily basis because it irritates my eyes whereas the Lush cleanser doesn't irritate me at all. Hopefully this product can help calm down my skin and I will definitely let you know how I get on with it!
Next I have a moisturiser which again I used to love back in 2016 which is the Origins Gin Zing Ultra Hydrating Moisturiser. This used to make my skin feel so amazing and when I was having partially dry patches this moisturiser sorted them right out. I stopped using this again when I ran out of the tub and since I normally buy it from Bicester Village because it is cheaper than buying it store, it wasn't worth a trip just to pick one tub up so I tried other products. I was using the Sukin Moisturiser but I feel like while my skin is this irritated I need something that I know works well and my skin likes.
On to clothing I picked up this super cute pearl top (similar) from Zara in Oxford a few days ago and I am in love. I love the safisicated but simple look of the pearls on black and think it will look super cute tucked into a high waist skirt and black tights for winter. I already have a jumper exactly the same but with longer sleeves so I know I'll get a lot of wear out of this.
I also bought two new jumpers from Newlook which are so flattering I have been throwing them on most days. They are just a simple long length design which covers my bum which is my favourite thing about them. Most jumpers now are cropped in some way and even though I love a good crop on some things... I welcome long body items into my wardrobe too! I have the jumper in burgandy and cream and love pairing them with ripped blue jeans and boots.
Lastly I have two new pairs of jeans to share with you, yes two blue pairs of ripped jeans. My excuse was I really need blue jeans... I have loads of black but not any blue jeans apart from one pair which I am absolute in love with but they have rips all over the bum. I have been on a hunt for these jeans again everywhere and couldn't find any! Then I tried these blue high waist hallie jeans from Newlook and I didn't hate them so I bought them thinking I would never find my jeans. The next day in Oxford I found the ripped blue skinny jeans I wanted AND they were in petit -dream come true! I had already wore the first pair of jeans so now I have two pairs of blue jeans but don't be mistaken, they are very different! One in a thin comfy material and the other is a thicker high waist style.

H&M have really upped their game recently with their clothing items and I recently went into a near by store while I was bored one day and found so many goodies I wanted to buy. I didn't go completely crazy only buying a few bits but I definitely could have!
First up I bought this blue denim dress which is exactly what I have been looking for for so long! I think most denim dungaree dresses don't suit me as they make me look like a sack of potatoes but this dress pulls me in at the waist and looks really flattering. I first bought the dress in the black and then hunted around another store to find the blue version as well.
I'm going to pair this dress with this bright red and white stripe top which I found in store and is right up my street. I live in dresses and stripe tees all through autumn and I have so many in my wardrobe but you can never have enough.
Here is the black version which I first bought last week and I have been wearing non stop every day. If you ever see me walking down the street in the future I bet 9/10 times I will be wearing this dress! It is so easy to wear with any colour top so you have so many different ways to wear it.
I've paired the black one with a long sleeved yellow top with this silver lace up design over the boobs which gives it a little extra to the mainly plain outfit.
Next up I have two right bargains that I found on their website over the weekend which were only £2.99! I saw these on online and thought they were be really good to wear underneath jumpers while the weather is transitioning into autumn, so if I get hot I can whip off my jumper and have my cute top on underneath. They are also really floaty so they will be great for next summer when we get another heat wave.
Lastly I have this thin jumper top with cut out shoulders which I also bought in green but it is currently in the wash. I really liked the way this hangs with high waist jeans and a leather jacket on top and I find cold shoulder tops suit me a lot and are easy to wear.
I didn't really need anymore clothes but with the seasons changing and there being so many sales everywhere at the moment, I couldn't help myself! I have linked all the items below in case you want to have a little look :)

Blue Denim Dungaree Dress - Similar - £24.99
Red and white stripe long sleeve tee - Link - £8.99
Black Denim Dungaree Dress - Similar - £24.99
Yellow lace up long sleeve top - Link - £9.99
Black strappy top - Link - £2.99
White strapy top - Link - £2.49
Pink Cold shoulder Top - Link - £4.89
I love the clothing in shops during spring time because it is so colourful and you can pick up items which you can wear when it is cold and when it is hot with different alternatives. I thought i'd share with you of my favourite items which I love to wear during this season.

This won't be a surprise to some of you because I live in long skirts during the warmer months, even though I am only 5 foot I think these really suit my size and shape at the right length and I much prefer wearing long shirts to wearing short shorts. I am not a big suns out legs out kind of girl. I love pairing long skirts with cropped tops or tip tops which I can tuck inside the skirts. I am lucky enough to have an alright waist so I like to show it off when I can.
S M O C K T O P S (photo)
I love to stick on a big smock top with a pair of skinny ripped jeans as it looks like you've put a lot of effort into your clothes when really all I've done is chuck on some clothes. I like to pair them with black skinny jeans and blue ripped skinny jeans and they work with both.
C L O T S (photo)
Clot trousers are a staple in my wardrobe around this time of year because they work with any weather and suits my body shape to a tee. Again I like them because they are usually high waist so they emphasis my small waist. I pair these with cropped tops and they can look really casual or dressed up with wedges or heels.

I didn't hop on the bralet trend when it first came around but after a while I couldn't keep away and now that I own one I have fell in love. I don't like the bralets that have a thin strap on them as they make my boobs look a little pointy! But bralets with big straps looks good so I am trying to find as many as I can. I also love how these look underneath baggy t-shirts.
What are some of your favourite outfits this spring?

Over the last week I have bought quite a few new bits for the warmer weather and thankfully for my birthday weekend which I bought most of these, the weather was absolutely beautiful.
Firstly I went into Newlook and found some really pretty things, the first floral dress is a sheer see through material which I really like for when it is sunny but not particularly warm. I paired this dress with a black crop top underneath with my light blue ripped denim which looked pretty funky.

The yellow and blue skirt caught my eye straight away for the summer, paired with a yellow, blue or even white strapy top I think this will look really effortlessly put together and I love the split down the middle.

Lastly from Newlook I gathered these two sheer peplum tops which I've had my eye on for a while. I don't particularity like my stomach so anything that hides it is a bonus. I picked up the black version because you can never have enough black in your wardrobe and the baby pink version which will be perfect for spring.
Then in Primark I found a few more cute tops to add to my collection and you can definitely tell I have a new favourite type of tops... The first top is another peplum top in a light grey which was only £3 so I had to buy it. It has a cute butterfly embroidery effort on it which I think with a strapy one top will look lovely on a sunny day.
Next is a really pretty black embroidery top which I love with my yellow Zara leather jacket and blue jeans It hangs really nice over high waist and normal jeans and it works with black and blue jeans.
Lastly for Primark I have this black and white ginham peplum top shock which is a little bit over sized so it is really flattering.

How gorgeous is this Zara jacket?? It comes in black and baby pink and it has cropped sleeves and body which looks lovely with high waist jeans and a cropped top. My sister bought me this for my birthday and I absolutely love it! It is quite a thin material but it surprisingly kept me warm on a rather cold day.
Lastly I bought three new pairs of shoes from Newlook and Primark which are super cute and rather expensive looking for the price I think. The first are the black flat bow slip ons which were only £8 but I think they look much more expensive than that. Second are the black gold heel slip ons which were £12 and looks really nice with jeans and makes a plan outfit a bit more smart. Lastly I have these brown lace up peep toe heels which Cal got me for my birthday which I know they will kill my feet for the first few times but they will look really nice during the day with blue jeans and white shirts.
