5 Items I Want To Add To My Wardrobe

I am still searching for items to add to my wardrobe to complete my aim to have a capsule wardrobe,  I don't follow all the rules and I certainly have more items then the recommended capsule wardrobe but you can interpret it in your own way.

There are a few things which I am currently looking for to add to my wardrobe which I think will be
a welcome addition.

style, fashion, capsule wardrobe, shopping, clothing, Newlook, h&m, topshop, straight jeans, blazer, ditsy dress, graphic tees, patterned tights, every blogger welcome,

Blue Straight Jeans
I still don't have a pair of straight jeans in my life and the urge to buy a pair is growing daily. I can't justify buying another pair of jeans when I have 4 pairs of blue jeans already. I definitely need to declutter my jeans first before I purchase a pair but where to buy them from is another thing stopping me from purchasing them. I found this pair from Newlook which I really like the shape and colour off but I am slightly funny with jeans so the hassle of buying a pair which don't fit and returning them is putting me off. What are your recommendations for blue straight jeans? I have tried every Primark near me and I can't find their vintage straight jeans.

Black Blazer
Another staple in most peoples wardrobe which I am still lacking in is a black blazer. I know I would get a lot of wear out of one and I love the look of a black blazer, roll neck and a pair of blue jeans. This Topshop one is a lovely boxy fit with a tortoise button detail.

Ditzy Dress
I am seriously lacking in cute dresses I can wear with tights and boots in the winter so I did have a look on the Shein website this morning (which is currently having a black Friday sale) and purchased a few bits to try. I picked up this black and one collar dress which is baggy and flowy and hopefully flattering. I am having a sort of body moment at the minute and I was to stay away from tight fitted clothing that makes me look pregnant... Another dress that I picked up is this Ditsy Babydoll Dress which again is black and one but how many black and white dresses can you have? I will do a review of the order once it arrives as I'm sure you will be as interested in the quality as I am!

Graphic Tees
I have never really been into graphic or band tees but recently I have found myself being drawn towards them and I watched a clothing haul by Bang On Style and I became obsessed with her wolf tee shirt so I definitely want to add some into my collection now.

Patterned Tights
I may regret this and look about 12 but I am loving the look of a plain black dress and patterned tights this autumn and I would like to try the look soon. I am someone who loves a plain outfit so the tights will jazz it up a tiny bit and hopefully make a whole new range of outfits. I will let you know how I get on with this one...

What are you planning to add to your wardrobe this season?

My Holy Grail Spot Rescue Products

cleansing pads, dry skin, face mask, glossier, loreal, problem skin, pure clay, skincare, solution, spots, superdrug, toner, superdrug, boots, capsule skincare collection

It is getting to that time of year again when your skin doesn't know what it wants to do, all this hot cold hot cold from the whether and central heating doesn't do it any favours and the inevitable happens... spot city.

I have a few products that I like to use when I have an unwanted friend staying on my face.

Superdrug's Naturally Radiant Gylcolic Pads £5.99
I first tried this cleansing pads this year after Caroline Hirons spoke about them on This Morning. Click here to see the video! I thought I would try them out since they were only £5.99 but I actually really really like them. I use them every morning and most evenings after I have removed me makeup and washed my face. I find that after I have used them my skin is smooth, even and spots seem soothed. I mainly get spots around my chin area so a have a few dark areas left over from old spots and I did find that the areas seemed to reduce in darkest when I used them.

When I have an active spot I like to rub these pads over the area once it has reached prime juicey stage and then everyday after to reduce the aftermath of the spot. The only disappointment for me with these is that there isn't a bigger pot because I go through them so easily!

Glossier Solution Skin Perfector £19
A product that I like to skin in my skincare draw for a day when I have troublesome skin in the Glossier Solution. It strips out all of the moisture around the area you apply it which is perfect if you have a raging spot that wont give. As this does strip your skin of moisture I tend to only use it when I have a spot and only apply it on the problem areas, too much product and I could end up with scales knowing my skin! But the product works great at striping all the gunk out of your spots, very hard core but good.

Loreal Pure Clay Blemish Rescue Mask £7.99
When I have the time to relax and leave something to work over time on my skin I like to use the Loreal Pure Clay Masks. I first tried the Detox mask a few years ago and when that ran out I moved onto the Blemish Rescue version which is great for a pamper night. I don't like messy face masks which take ages to remove and get on everything so I love how easy this mask is apply and remove. I find after I have used this mask my skin is smoother, calmer and spots are reduced in size. It does sometimes bring out new spots but I'd rather get all my gunk out in one go rather then get over one spot and then a new one appears!

What are your holy grail products for pesky spots?

My Autumn Makeup Routine | Shopping My Stash

autumn, beauty, Clinique, kiki, loreal, makeup, naked, Revlon, routine, shopping stash, urban decay, capsule makeup bag, beauty blogger,

I have made an conscious effort this year to reduce the amount of makeup I purchase as a whole and it is safe to say it has been a big success. I haven't brought any new makeup since 2018 and the last post I made about makeup was a review of makeup I gifted the previous years so I definitely think my beauty blogging days are officially over. But that is fine and my priorities for this space have changed massively so roll on the future!

Back to the post...

I thought I would show you my current makeup routine for autumn telling you about some of my favourite products from my more streamline collection and if you are lucky, you might get a selfie with the makeup one! (sorry didn't happen :P)

For my base I have been mainly going between two equally great foundations from two different price points. The first is the Rimmel Lasting Finish 25hr Foundation in Classic Ivory which gives a gorgeous flawless effect on the skin as well as not looking too full coverage or over the top. When I feel like I need a little bit more coverage especially in the evening, I like to add in a few drops of the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation in the shade 3.5 cream rose. I can't go wrong with either foundations as they both last all day on my skin.

For bronzer I like to keep it simple and use the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Noorer as it can be lovely and subtle when I need it to be or built up to create a powerful look when I need.

For my eyes I have been going in between the same two palettes for over a year now, both Urban Decay and both amazing. The Naked 2 Palette is great for glitter and smokey eye looks where as the Naked Heat palette is great for a flushed natural pop of colour to match a sexy red lip.

And lastly for lips I like to keep it simple with a nude … or a darker nude - ground breaking I know. When I want a easy simple look I opt for the Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Sand and when I want a big of a darker I opt for the Kiko Lipstick in Velvet Passion which I can never find online!

This will probably be the only beauty related post I make for a long time now as most blog posts would involve all the same products so saviour it while it is here!

How to look put together on a budget

clohing, fashion, outfits, put together, classy, chic, primark, Newlook, zara, hm, capsule wardrobe, pinterest,

Like I have said before my fashion style is much more simple and classic since the beginning of the year and my style influences have changed as well. Most people who live for the capsule classic wardrobe always say invest in your wardrobe because they will last longer and I totally see where they are coming from but not everyone can buy a Sezane jumper for £80.

I would consider my wardrobe as a collection of classic and versatile pieces which all suit every other and all get a lot of wear now but my wardrobe is also full of Primark, Newlook and H&M with a few Zara pieces thrown in.

Now I like to think I look put together (most of the time) and so here are some of the ways I think help make an outfit look put together with any pieces from any price point.

1. Build outfits around a key piece
I find when I make outfits that if I start with a really get piece like some leather look leggings or a great shirt, the rest of the outfit comes together nicely because I am building pieces around this great item. Normally in the mornings I have some idea of at least one item I want to wear so I usually build my outfit around that and make it the star attraction. I have a leather skirt which I bought from Newlook about 5 years ago and whenever I style that skirt, I remember why I love it so much. It works with everything and people always compliment me on it.

2. Keep it simple
When I was younger I always used to buy the funky items with the funk patterns and then fast forward a few years, I would be throwing them out because I only wore them once. Although I used to love a pattern I always thought it drew attention to me and when I was a teenager, I did not want any attention at all. Now I have a predominantly plain wardrobe with a few key patterns thrown in here and there, with a few patterned shirts to add some print where I need it. I find nothing is more shic then a animal print top with a all black outfit but I do feel like If you want to look shic and effortless you can't go wrong with block colours.

3. Stick to the base colours
Now this tip can be interpreted very broadly as some peoples base colours are pink and blue whereas my base colours are cream, brown and black. It all depends on first what colours you already have in your wardrobe and what colours you know you will never get bored of wearing. I tend to stick within the earthy neutral colours for many reason - they suit my olive skin colour, they look great together whatever the season and they are colours which you can find in all shops at any time. I find when I create an outfit using my base colours I don't have to add anything else to make it look like I threw it together with no effect needed.

Any little point to add to this tip is to try monochrome outfits. Now monochrome outfits don't have to mean all black (which I live in right now) they can mean a all cream or camel or white outfit. I find when I wear a monochrome outfit it makes my body look longer and the pieces I'm wearing look more premium.

4. Accessories
When I make an outfit which to other people may look boring, all I need to do to make it a bit more formal or fancy is add some simple jewellery. Normally my choice of accessories is a big watch and maybe one more ring, during this time 90% of the time in a roll neck so there is no point wearing a necklace. I also have a few small over the shoulder bags which add a little something to an outfit and which can also bring a pop of colour to a monochrome or 'boring' outfit.

Lastly not forgetting the big dog... boots! I live for boots and if I could wear them all year round without my feet dying I would. Boots can make a outfit look finished and my favourite pair of black faux snakeskin effort pointed toe boots from Newlook maybe two years ago. I call these my classy boots as they make me look classy and make my outfits look amazing. My favourite look to pair these boots with is a black jumper and black leather look leggings, the boots just make my look like I have really long legs and it is so flattering.

5. Match your hardware
Might be somewhat of a controversial point as I know a lot of people who love to mix silver and gold but... I just cant do it. Apart from my silver engagement ring which I kind of ignore when I am picking my jewellery, the rest is always all gold or all silver. I don't know why but I physically can no mix them and I find when all my jewellery, the chains on my bag, my belt and my shoes match, it looks so much better!

6. Give extra love to your items
Since reducing the amount of items in my wardrove I have adopted a new love for my clothing items. When something looks like it is starting to wear I like to try and save it before giving it up for retirement and I also like to care for the items more so that they don't get to that point. I have invested in a fabric shaver from Phillips which basically shaves the extra bobbles off of knitwear and makes the items look new again. I also like to wash certain items on their own on a delicate wash so that it doesn't harm the item. I also have gone to my mum to save a few items which I can't part with yet.

Nowadays people are so focused on decluttering and condensing that they don't realise that they are wasting items which could have been fixed or items that don't have anything wrong with them. If you spend more time looking after your items, they will last no matter the price.

My Hair Inspiration #2

I like to get most of my hair inspiration from Pinterest and I have changed my mind about my hair a lot recently. If you have read my last hair inspiration post then you will know that I chopped off most of my hair a few years ago, since then I have grown my hair and then cut it again, then grown it again and then yes you guessed it, cut it!

Since last year I have been on a mission to grown my hair and I am slowly getting there. Here are some of my favourite hair styles currently inspiring me. As you can tell I am basically my life on Jess from New Girl at the moment!

Styling my full fringe with glasses is my favourite look at the minute so before I picked out my glasses in June, I used Pinterest to help me choose my frames to suit me.

What I've been watching lately #2

friends, autumn, call the midwife, drama, e4, Friday night dinner, girls incarcerated, inside n9, interior design master, itv, lifestyle, Netflix, sanditon, sex education, Stacey Dooley, tv, watch list,

Its that time again where I share my favourite tv shows with you and i have some pretty good ones in my list this time.

C A L L  T H E  M I D W I F E

A classic show for me which I have been watching for years. I ended up missing the seventh series when it was aired on tv so I am so excited that that series is now on Netflix! I am currently re-watching the sixth series on the website in preparation since it has been a while, I don't want to forget anything.

I N S I D E  NO 9

This is a recent discovery for me and so far I absolutely love it! I love the concept that every episode is non related but contains the same actors most of the time. It stars Steve Pemberton who I have loved ever since first seeing him in Benidorm. I am now on series 2 and I find them so interesting. My favourite episode so far was S2E2 with Sheridan Smith, the episode gripped me and actually made me cry. My second episode I totally recommend is S1E3 which kept me guessing the whole episode who and what was real.

F R I D A Y  N I G H T  D I N N E R

This is such a well written, well executed and well produced show, it should be on every Friday night till the end of time. I started watching this at the beginning of the year with Callum and we become obsessed really quickly. We watched all the series' in one go and then got our hearts broken when we were told the new series was being recorded. We are still waiting for the new series to air ….

G I R L S   I N C A R C E R A T E D

It is no secret that I love a good documentary especially one recorded in a prison. This documentary follows young girls in a American correctional facilities and shows you their struggles inside and outside the facility. The girls started to really annoy Callum but I watched the series till the end to see how the girls finished the series.

S E X   E D U C A T I O N

What a brilliant show! There are many questions surrounding this tv shows like why the hell do they have English accents but an American styled school? But man am I excited for the next series. Most people have watched this show already but if you haven't, go download Netflix right now!!

S T A C E Y  D O O L E Y  S L E E P S  O V E R

I have loved Stacey way before her stint on Strictly, all the way back in her Blood, Sweat and T-shirts days, so I always watch any new show she brings out. In this doc she spends a weekend at the house of different types or families, from a YouTube family to a house which is child led. I relate to Stacey so much for many different reasons so I love the questions she asks in her interviews.

I N T E R I O R  D E S I G N  M A S T E R

This show is fantastic and I am not creative at all.  watched it while it airs last month and I was pretty sucked in. The show follows interior designers compete to be crowned the master designer and win the prize of designing a hotel in London. My favourite episode so far has been the lodges by the seaside, I really want to go for a weekend break at a lodge in the countryside.

S A N D I T O N

I have always loved a period drama and Sanditon has not disappointed me. Even if I wasn't a fan of period dramas, I would watch it just for Theo James. Imagine him in a gentleman's outfit and a cane... thank me later. I  really enjoyed the show which follows a influential family who lives by the sea and tries to make it seaside resort.

A M E R I C A N  H O R R O R  S T O R I E S

Need I explain this? I have loved this show from the first series and although my interest has dipped along the series, I still watch the new episodes as soon as they are on tv. We are about half way in the new series and so far I seems good. I do miss Evan Peters because he is the king of AHS for me.

F R I E N D S

This show will not get old to me. I had to give it an honourable mention because although it isn't a new find to me, I watched this show every morning while I am getting ready so you can imagine how many times I have started again. I think I am on my 8th straight run of the show and although Callum hates it every time he hears the theme tune, I can't get enough.

What have you been watching?

My Style Influences

My style has changed a lot over the last year and part of that is down to the new youtubers I have found over the year. Apart from one person from the list who I have been following for a while, I have discovered the ladies below and fallen in love with their style and channels.

# Ruby Holley

I found Ruby only this year and she has become one of my favourite people to watch. She is the person that first got me obsessed with the loafers, mom jeans and shirts combo which I wore so much during spring and summer. I love her girlie smart sense of style and I have made many outfits based on her Instagram.

# Emma Hill
I have mentioned emma before on my blog and I am still obsessed with her style, she makes the black blazer and denim outfit look so easy to wear. I love watching her wardrobe organising videos and she has just started making videos about charity purchases which interests me a lot. If you are looking for someone with classic London style then Emma is your gal.

# Freya Farrington
I found Freya's channel this summer and I first found her Primark hauls and I loved her style based on casual neutral colour scheme. She can make any outfit work and I have purchased some items I have saw first on Freya and I can confirm, they looked better in her!

#Dearly Bethany
Bethany is my most recent find and I am not ashamed to admit I binge watched all of her videos in one day. Her style is so simple but looks so sleek and put together, she can literally wear a pair of black trousers, a black jumper and a pair of boots and she looks amazing.

My Staples For A Work Wardrobe

asos, autumn, fashion, HM, Newlook, style, topshop, uniform, very, work, staples, pinterest, Instagram, outfits, ootd, wardrobe, the girl gang, blogging gals,

At my office there isn't really any uniform protocol and if I wanted to come into work in some  leggings and an oversized jumper/hoodie, I would get away with it. This doesn't stop me wanting to get dressed up for work and make cute smart outfits. I have always loved dressing girlie and smart ever since I was a little girl.

I remember running round my stores when I worked in retail in a checked mini skirt, roll neck and high black boots. Over the years my stamina has reduced but my taste in mini skirts hasn't!

I have a few staples that my work uniform revolves around and they are nothing too bold or daring, just a few neutral (but mainly black) items that work with everything. I do want to branch out every so slightly into more neutral colours that aren't black... but the habit runs deep. It just goes with everything and in winter you can get away with a lot of black items.

My autumn to-do list

autumn, baking, batch cooking, bookkeeping, Christmas, country walks, food, Halloween, lifestyle, slow cooker, to-do list,

I think as much as I love the idea of Christmas being right around the corner (yes I've just used the C word...), it has only just struck me that the end of year is also near! I do feel like I have achieved a lot during the year but their are a few more things I want to do before the year is over.

Make a current cake
A bit of a random one to start with but I have been saying that I will attempt my mum's famous current cake for months. What better time then autumn when you want something to fill a long afternoon?

Attend a Halloween party
I love getting dressed up and Halloween is the best excuse to go crazy with your outfit. I like to plan dress up days at work around this time as well so that is two excuses to dress up! Who is inviting me to their party?

Visit more villages
Callum and I love to pick a random village neat us and take a long walk, looking at the cute old fashioned houses and old style roads. We like to try the local pub as well for some weekend lunch and we haven't been disappointed yet. We would like to add more village pubs to our list. You never know when someone will ask you for a recommendation.

Get my batch cooking butt into gear
I love batch cooking and during the winter, my work lunches can get bored very easily. I recently made a big batch of spaghetti Bolognese and cottage pie and I looked forward to my lunch all week. I want to turn Sundays into batch cooking and slow cooking days.

Use my slow cooker on a weekly basis
I love using my slow cooker but during the summer I didn't use it very much at all. Time to get that bad boy out and like I said in my last point, use my slow cooker on most Sundays so I can spend my day batch cooking meals for the week.

Pass my second exam in Bookkeeping
I have only just passed my first exam for unit 1 but I am hoping by the end of autumn, I can say I have done two units. I am giving myself three months till I want to start the next stage.

Get my house sorted for Christmas
This will be the first year I have hosted my family for Christmas day and I am nervous! I only have a few things to do to get the house ready, like get some curtains for the living room, get a new table which will fit all six of us and buy a dishwasher because I do not want to be washing up all that! It is just getting time before one day you look at your phone and its the start of December.

Complete my Christmas shopping by the end of November
I know I have used the C word three times but I don't care. I have already started Christmas shopping and I would say I am 70% of the way so my plan to be ready by end of November should work out well. I am trying not to go crazy with presents this year so maybe I will do a budget gift guide.

My favourite things about autumn

autumn, chocolate, Christmas, classics, cosy, fashion, favourites, Halloween, lifestyle, List, mince pies, Netflix, photos, pinterest, roast dinners, season, style,

Is it acceptable to officially call it autumn now?!
I hope so because I can't wait any longer and the fair lights are finally out of their boxes! Ever since I was a child, autumn has been my favourite time of the year so I thought, since it appears to be a tradition on my blog, to list all the things that make me love autumn.

5 things i've learnt since living with my partner

boyfriend, girlfriend, home owner, lifestyle, List, partners, relationship, rentals, advice, heart to heart, forest, photography

Living with your partner is one of the biggest steps in your life so it can be crazy, scary and over whelming at first. When we first got the green light to move into the home we bought i'm not going to lie, i was nervous. You always hear about couples who are together for years and years and then when they move in together, they can't make it work and break up. Some may call me a pessimistic, i call myself a realist.

Luckily for me and my partner, we are still going strong three years into living together and 5 years into our relationship.  Living together has taught me a lot about relationships in general, so i thought i would share my thoughts with you today. Obviously everyone is different so some people will not agree with my five points and that is absolutely fine! This is just a few things which have made living with a smelly man work.

1. give yourself your own jobs
One thing i was really worried about when we moved in together was arguing about stupid house things. Most people argue about chores and people pulling their weight so when we moved in we subconsciously gave each other jobs. I do most of the cleaning and cooking in the house and Cal does all the hoovering and washing up, which is one of the things i hate thank god.

2. don't get stuck in a routine
Some people love routines and find life runs more smoothly when they are in one. Cal and I personally are half and half. We find when we have done the same for a few nights we can get bored, its when we get to this point we plan something spontaneous. Whether it is just a walk down to the local village pub for a drink after work, going out for dinner or even spending the night round a friends house. It breaks up our week and makes it a bit more interesting. I think sometimes we forget that we are only a 25 and 28 year old living a old married couples life.

3. don't forget to have your own space
Both Cal and I are quite introvert people so we can easily spend time by ourselves and some nights we really need that. Some nights when i get home from work and i really want to sit in the bath for a few hours and go straight to bed, Cal just leaves me to it, and vice versa.

4. give each other free rein of the house
Some people don't like to leave the house when the other half have company which is perfectly fine for them. I personally like to have space so if i or Cal have friends coming round, the other person goes out for the night. A lot of people don't feel the need to do this but personally i think its nice to give your partner the space to entertain.

5. having fights about absolutely nothing is all part of the course
You might not be the type of couple who normally argues but that will change when you move in together, and that is totally normal. If you don't argue about the colour of the wall or the Santa on the stairs then tell us all your secrets! Don't worry if you start to bicker about stupid things because that is just life and normally they don't last very long, well so far...

3 Additions to my Autumn Wardrobe + Outfit Ideas

*Items mentioned below have been gifted*
bloggers, capsule, essentials, fashion, femme luxe, fishnet, H&M, lace shirt, leather look leggings, leggings, levi's, loafers, lounge sets, pinterest, primark, shirts, staples, style, Wardrobe,
Like I have mentioned before, I am very slowly forming my version of a capsule wardrobe and I felt like I had a few items missing from my autumn capsule. I like to use Pinterest to give me ideas of how to wear items in my wardrobe differently and I have found a lot of the photos I am drawn towards, have items with a very smart and polished feel to them which I used to have a lot of only a few years ago. This was before I started working in an office and I didn't think I would ever wear them again. Fast forward a couple of years and most of my gorgeous patterned shirt are in my parent's neighbour's daughter's wardrobe your welcome.

So when Femmeluxe asked me if I wanted to try a few of their pieces to add to my wardrobe, I was very appreciate as the website is full of gorgeous items. I picked out four items which I thought would work really well in my wardrobe and suit my body shape.

The first item was this Black Polka Dot Fishnet Sleeve Shirt which I picked up in a size 10. I have an array of shirts in my wardrobe now which I wear on a day to day basis. I love to wear them to work with a smart pair of black fitted trousers or at the weekend with a pair of light blue mom jeans. I am lucky that shirts suit me really well so I can basically pair them with any bottom and they look pretty good, if I say so myself. I also don't normally wear shirts untucked because I find them can drown me and my body shape but actually, the length of this shirt makes it great on top of bottoms. I definitely think I would get a lot of wear out of the white version as well as I am trying to add more light staple colours into my wardrobe. Changing up my wardrobe for autumn has shown me how much black I actually own.

Now with sizing I picked up a size 10 which is true to size for me and fits me really well but for someone will bigger boobs pancakes over here I would maybe size up once to make sure the buttons don't pop open on your boobs. I love the way the shirt sits on my shoulders with the top bottoms open. Feel free to head on over to the website to see the shirt on a much better model then me!

My next item which I have been on the look out for since last autumn are a pair of Black High Waisted Faux Leather Look Leggings. I think when planning your autumn winter wardrobe leather look leggings can be a big staple. I have been looking at different styles and deciding whether i want ones with belt loops or the more basis leggings style and i think for the way i want to wear them with big oversized jumpers and cardigans, the leggings are the best option.

These are so comfy to wear and they feel even more comfy with a big fluffy jumper like the white one above. Now I picked them up in a size 10 which fit me perfectly when they are on and i can already tell i will not be pulling these leggings up during the day. I am extremely short at just 5 ft so I have had to roll the bottoms up but I think i prefer the look that way as it balances my short legs.

I love the look of these with my black suedette boots as well as my black loafers so depending on where you are going ,you can make the leggings look more smart or more casual.

The next item I purely pick up because they looked so comfy on the website and I don't have many lounge sets in my casual home wear wardrobe, so I picked up the Dusty Pink With White Stripe Lounge Wear Set. Whenever I am at home just chilling, I normally looking not very cute in some over worn pjs and I want to invest in some lounge sets. Something that is comfy enough to wear lounging around the house but if I needed to pop out to the shop I could just run straight out.

I picked up the dusty pink pair because the colour is so gorgeous and I think they are a great colour to mix and match with other bottoms and tops. I could wear some blue jeans and the top or wear a cropped one top with the bottoms. I picked these up in a size 10 and i could do with a size 10 bottom and a size 12 top just so it is more baggy and comfy. For the photo I have paired the bottoms with my basis Levi's t-shirt.

Now for a few bonus items!

femmeluxe, pleated skirt, polka dot, fishnet, black shirt, smart, polished, wishlist,

I ordered this Black Polka Dot Ruched Puff Sleeve Mini Dress along with the other items and which I'm sure you can tell by the picture why I wanted it. I wanted a easy to wear dress to add to my wardrobe for when I had an occasion and I needed to look like I have my sh*t together. This black and white dress was perfect but I totally underestimated the size of my bottom region and couldn't get the dress over my bum. I picked it up in a 8/10 when really I am the bigger end of the size 10 scale so really to make sure it fitted, I should have got the 10/12. Lesson learnt! I definitely want to try the dress again because I think it will be a great additional to my wardrobe.

A few other pieces which I have my eye on from the website are this Black Satin Pleated Midi Skirt. I lived in my rust orange colour pleated skirt from H&M this year and I know I would get so much wear out of the this black style. With a black shirt and a pair of heels or with a cropped jumper and a black of black heeled boots.

Lastly I have my eye also on this Black Fishnet Sleeve Top which like the photo on the website, would look so cute with some light blue mom jeans and black loafers. I really like the look of mixing smart and casual items and this outfit is perfect.
