If you follow me on twitter you will know that me and my boyfriend Callum went to Bedford for the day last Friday. I went a bit camera happy at some points of the day so thought I would put them all together in a post for both you and me :)
The first thing we did when we got there was find the local Costa so that we could feel our limbs again, whenever we go on an adventure together we always start the day with a hot chocolate for both of us (of course mine is the cream one)
Then we hit the shops to nick some warmth because it was unbelievable cold that day! I have to say we weren't too impressed with the shops, the Topman was too small for Cal's liking and I didn't like anything in Newlook or River Island. I did find some cute underwear in Primark so I was happy, Primark underwear is the only underwear that I like and that fits me well.
After walking around trying to find our way to all the shops we found a covered lane called The Arcade which housed a shop for both me and Cal. I loved a cute home and gifty shop called Charisma (website) where I picked up two bath bombs for £2.50 and some 'little hotties' which you put on top of a oil burner. It was £6.99 for a full box of any that you wanted so I picked two of each and I cant wait to smell out my room with them. Cal found a little clothing boutique called Boutique Planet where he found some tops that me liked and the guy who was working was really friendly and a laugh to talk.
Next we went for a walk at The River Embankment which is super long and looked like it went on for a million miles. We couldn't walk a lot of it because the weather felt like it was artic conditions but we did enjoy a nice little stroll down it to relax us. Here is where i went camera mad so prepare for a million photos...
Apparently I thought I was some kind of landscape photographer at this point...
While we were walking across the road we found a hut on a hill which you could walk up and see high above the road and river...
We then drove down the road from the town centre to The Interchange Retail Park which was about 10 minutes away. Thank goodness we found this otherwise i would have wrote Bedford off for its shop choices. It has a Toys 'r' Us store which me and Cal loved walking round because we both are like little kids, it also has a Matalan, Boots and Outfit among loads other which we didn't go into. Outfit was a great shop but I just didn't see anything I loved which was a bit gutting.
Lastly before we drove home Cal took me to where his grand parents live just as you enter Bedford and I fell in love with all the houses there. Across the road from his grandparents house is a play park and a county park where you can follow paths all through the forest and fields and which would be a lovely walk (if it was much warmed!)

Excuse the mess but I'm currently living out a bag at my sisters and I hurriedly threw all the clothes that were in my travel bag on the floor to pack (making sure I had enough time to have a fashion shoot in front of the mirror of course!)
I bought this dress in the USC (the company that took over Republic) sale online and it was just £14.
I love wearing big baggy smock dresses at the minute, I think they suit my shape and always look good with some tights and a pair of big chunky boots. This one caught my eye because it is a navy blue check design which I haven't seen much of before. I also bought another smock dress that is black and white but that is saved for another post...
The material is quite thin so it hangs really nicely off the body and you don't have to worry about it losing shape. So far I haven't had a big problem with the dress creasing easily as well which is a really good thing, but it is super easy to iron anyway, a boy could even do it!
I'm also wearing my really warm panda hat which my sister got me for christmas. I know that they don't conventionally go together but you have got to love animal hats when they look soooo cute on and I'm a sucker for anything super cute and with animals on :)
First of all, Happy New Years Eve my lovelies! I hope you all have a lovely night whatever you are doing and that you have a good start to the year :)
Myself and my boyfriend and our friends are going for a meal tonight at an Italian and then we are planing to go into town to one of the small pubs to see in the new year. We both aren't big party goers anymore so we won't stay long but because it is New Years I did want to dress up.
I am wearing a shirt dress from River Island which I got in the sale for £15, I have paired it with a plain black skirt to cover my bum. It is very black but black is the new black isn't it?
Enjoy your night lovelies and see you new year! :)
So today is the 31st of October which means today is Halloween! I love holidays like this because there are always decorations up everywhere and people really get into the spirit and it gives people an excuse to dress up.
Now this Halloween I am actually not dressing up just because my only option of going out is to go into town and I am not doing that in fancy dress! So anyway this evening (or now depending when I put this up) I am going to the cinema with my boyfriend to watch Ouja, hopefully I wont poo my pants in the cinema...
Since I'm not dressing up this year and I didn't have this blog back then I thought I'd show you guys what I dressed up as last year for a Halloween party. I went as the puppet Saw from the gruesome Saw films which are my favourite! I had the help of my sister and her two friends to get me looking creepy. I had work till 6 that night so it was a bit of a rush to get ready in time for the party but we did it.
I bought white face paint to cover my whole face in, black eye shadow to put all around my eyes, I used a bright red lipstick I already had, a red cream blush to draw on my circles on my cheeks and lastly used a black pencil eye liner to draw on my dummy jaw lines.
The funny thing was my over exaggerated eyebrows look like some girls eye brows normally!
For my hair I backed combed the top of it to get it hold for the whole night (which it did) and curled the hair at the bottom. I tried to make it quite messy so that I wouldn't look to 'put together'
For my outfit I bought a fitted white shirt from Newlook to put under my fitted black blazer from there and wore them with my black disco pants from you guessed it... Newlook. I ordered a red dicky bow off eBay which was a bargain!
And my Saw look was complete!
Here are two photo from the party where I still look quite decent haha the first one is of me and a Micky Mouse garden ornament because why not... and the second is of me and my favourite clown Joseph <3

My boyfriend has been wanting to take me to Nandos since before we got together so this week we went for a meal there finally, and since I hadn't actually left the house all day... I wanted to make an effort during the night :)
I wore my green check tube skirt from the teen section of Newlook (it's cheaper than the adults so who cares if it's aged 14-15..) with my black cropped curled bottom t-shirt from Topshop and some black tights. I paired them both with my new petit black leather jacket from Newlook, which I am in love with! I've been feeling a bit frumpy lately since I've put on a bit of weight (biggest understatement ever!) recently and hated how I looked in tight skirts. But because of the A line cut of this skirt it skims over my hips and doesn't highlight my stomach. Brilliant!
On my face I was wearing Dr Brandt Primer, my trusty Supergoop CC cream in light to medium, my concealer palette from eBay and the sleek contour palette in medium. On my eye I wore a mixture of Models CO black mascara and a cheap mascara I bought from primark last year which has the best brush ever. It is brilliant at opening up my lashes when mascara is on them!
Ciao xx
Last weekend it was my best friend's (All Things Ashleigh) 20th birthday night out in our home town, she is the baby of the group and so was the last one to turn 20. I thought I'd show you my outfit, hair and make up for the night :)
My outfit ended up being all from Newlook shock.
The dress I purchased from the Newlook store in Weston Favel which I picked up the week before when I went over to cover the store. The white shoes I had picked up a few weeks earlier specifically for a night out (with Ashleigh again because we are party animals apparently..)
I paired these two with a white and cream clutch bag (which I didn't take a photo of as It was waiting for me round Ashleigh's house at the time)

On my face I used my two favourite concealers Collection in Fair 1 and Rimmel Wake Me Up in Ivory. I used the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation in the shade 230 Warm Ivory.
I set my make up with the Collection Pressed Powder in Tender Touch. I used my H&M Bronzing Powder in Dark Tan and the Natural Collection Blush in Blushed Cheeks.
Lastly on my eyes I used the Eyeko London Skinny Mini Liquid Eyeliner in Black, I used the Maybelline Rocket Volume Express on my eyelashes and then applied my Benefit They're Real Mascara over the top to make them stand out a bit more.
Finally on my lips I put my Collection Lasting Colour Lipstick in shade 8 Sweet Tart.
Lastly I'll just pop in a photo of my outfit for my girlie night out with Ashleigh where again I am wearing a Newlook dress with my white heels :)
The coat is £49.99 but I did get a discount on it which encouraged me to buy it. You can take a look at it here.
I thought I'd share it with you guys as I love it so much! :)
