I think one thing we are all a little scared of at this current point in time is keeping busy. If you are used to working a 9-5 job and then enjoying yourself at the weekend, sitting at home can be a drastic change.
I thought I would make a list of everything you can do at home to keep yourself busy

Obviously you can only do some of these things if you have a puzzle or paint already in the house.

My style has changed a lot over the last year and part of that is down to the new youtubers I have found over the year. Apart from one person from the list who I have been following for a while, I have discovered the ladies below and fallen in love with their style and channels.
# Emma Hill
I have mentioned emma before on my blog and I am still obsessed with her style, she makes the black blazer and denim outfit look so easy to wear. I love watching her wardrobe organising videos and she has just started making videos about charity purchases which interests me a lot. If you are looking for someone with classic London style then Emma is your gal.
# Freya Farrington
I found Freya's channel this summer and I first found her Primark hauls and I loved her style based on casual neutral colour scheme. She can make any outfit work and I have purchased some items I have saw first on Freya and I can confirm, they looked better in her!
#Dearly Bethany

# Ruby Holley
I found Ruby only this year and she has become one of my favourite people to watch. She is the person that first got me obsessed with the loafers, mom jeans and shirts combo which I wore so much during spring and summer. I love her girlie smart sense of style and I have made many outfits based on her Instagram.
# Freya Farrington

Although I am starting to now see the benefits of investing in clothing items, I am still a bargain shopper at heart. There are some things I splurge on and some things I save on (post to follow very soon!)
Over the years I have found some lovely pieces on eBay which I have ended up wearing for years afterwards. There are pit falls when buying from eBay which I have had my fair share of over the years but I have two items which I have loved since last year and two items which have been in my wardrobe since April time and again, I just love. All the items are great quality and wash really well. All links and sizes will be at the end of the post!
Starting with the items which have been in rotation in the wardrobe all spring summer, some basic jersey t-shirts. At the start of the year I didn't have any logo tops in my wardrobe mainly because I felt they made me look young and boyish while wearing them. Then I really started to like the whole t-shirt and midi skirt vibe and that started a love affair with them. I picked up three t-shirts off eBay, all which I have been wore several time during spring summer.
Call me a basic bitch but I loved these Vogue tops when I first saw them and thought a black and white version would be perfect for my wardrobe. I really love to wear the black and gold version with black skinny jeans and gold jewerelly where as I like to pair the white and black version with light blue denim. Both make a otherwise plan outfit look a bit more put together.
Then to add a carve ball in, I decided to pick up this black makeup design which I love! With an all black outfit, especially some black joggers and a cardigan. I think it would make the outfit look like I made some effort, when really I've just rolled out of bed.
Now we have two jumpers which I wasn't expecting to like so much but the quality of them is above my standard for eBay. First up is this slightly cropped black, cream and brown patchwork jumper which has a high neck which I love and looks great with some black skinny jeans. I really like to throw this jumper on with black jeans and brown boots for work and it just looks like I have my sh*t together. Since condensing my wardrobe I have really become drawn to the neutral palette because the colours are so easy to style together and this jumper is a neutral lovers dream.
My last item is this longer fitting black and cream patchwork jumper. Like the previous one it is not too thick so perfect for the start of autumn when the sun is still shinning but there is a breeze. I do think you can't go wrong with a black and cream jumper, I normally wear this with black skinny's (shock) and some heeled black boots as I find being short, this makes my legs look longer with the length of the jumper. This jumper does have breathable holes throughout so it can make choosing a bra colour tricky as the front of the jumper is black and the back of the jumper is cream. I tend to opt for the black and have it pocking out the black.
I definitely do not need anymore knitwear or jersey but I am following a few things on eBay right now just in case I find a use for them in my wardrobe. Right now I think my wardrobe is pretty much set for autumn bar one plain black roll neck jumper....
I recently watched Emma Hill's YouTube video where she showed you everything she bought on eBay which was second hand. I have had bad experiences buying second hand on eBay but after watching her video, I am intrigued to try again. If I do I will definitely show you what I bought and if it was worth it.

This week I had a huge de-clutter of my makeup and removed a huge bag of products from my collection. When I first got into beauty blogging and youtube I thought the aim of the game was to have the biggest makeup collection. I used to watch youtubers collections and be so envious of the size of theirs and the different products they had to hand. That made me end up buying makeup every time I went out and picking up bargain products I found in random shops so that I had products to bulk up my collection.
I know now that that is stupid since I hardly used the majority of the products because I had my favourites, thankfully people started focusing on steamline makeup collections and the 'makeup declutter videos' were born. As silly as it sounds, now that big youtubers are reducing the size of their makeup collections I now don't feel deflated with my small collection and enjoy reducing my own to the essentials.
So here are 5 questions that I ask myself when I am de-cluttering my makeup!
1. Is it used up?
Sounds simple but I find so many products which are basically empty but are still in my collection. Whether its a reminder to repurchase the product or you just forgot to throw it away get rid of it. Luckily with my blog I can talk about the products that I love so in the future I can look back and know the formula and shade I want to repurchase.
2. Have I used it in the last 3 months?
Like I said when I was trying to expand my makeup collection I had quite a few products in my collection that never got used so I had wasted my money and time in purchasing them. Now I like to go through my collection and see if I have actually used the products. If I haven't used the products in the last 3 months then I will either give them away or put them in my everyday makeup bag to use them and see if I like them. The worst thing is throwing away a product to later find out you would have loved it if you had tried it. If when I next sort through my makeup I still haven't used that product it then goes in the give away pile.
3. What is the expiry date?
I am someone who will hold onto a product because I love it even if it is a little bit old... I know it is disgusting but you ignore the fact that the product is gloppy and just spend an extra 10 minutes blending it in... I have stopped doing that you will be pleased to know and I follow a strict process now where every 6 months I go through the items which I know would have expired during that time. I do use the little icon on the back of products to identify if I need to get rid of them but lets be honest, who remember exactly when they bought that lipstick? I also use this cheat sheet to remind myself of the time frames for makeup.

4. Do I like it?
Sounds very strange when you have spent money on this product to ask if you like it but so many times you are keeping products you don't actually like because of sentimental value or because you spent a lot of money on it. I am quite careful with high end products because I will always research them before giving over any money, the idea of spending so much money on a product I won't like scares me. So I always ask myself if I like this product when I am going through my makeup because a lot of the time the products that always make it through your sort outs are sentimental but not your shade or formula at all. You might be thinking I couldn't do that my nans best friends son's girlfriend got me that eye shadow palette but when you have minimal room for your storage and the palette hasn't been used once, isn't it better to give it to someone who will use it?
5. Do I have anything similar
Lastly the question we are all guilty of, have the same product in 5 different variations. I am not that adventurous with my makeup because I like the natural look most days so this can mean I end up with 5 eye palettes all with the same shades in which is obviously silly and wasteful. I don't need two matte nude palettes or two shimmer pink palettes sadly so I like to pick my favourite one and pass on the other to a friend. It is the same with lipsticks so many shades right now are basically the same with different packaging so who needs two browny nudes with look exactly the same.
I hate the idea of waste so any products that aren't out of date or a bit grim go to my sister or friends who love rummaging through and finding treats. I find that I might not like a product but my sister who is different in her style of makeup and shades might love the product so at least it goes to a loving home.

Its time again for another YouTuber round up post but with a twist. Normally I talk about beauty bloggers 90% of the time but most of my time now on YouTube is spent watching vlogs and families on the site. I thought it was about time I gave them a shout out since I haven't done a round up since February last year!
Starting off with my new favourite mummy vlogger who I have been obsessed with for the last few months. I first found Rebecca from Rebecca Lamb, a mum of two who lives in the dales, when I was searching aldi food haul videos, I am not ashamed to say I am obsessed (dont judge me...) I love watching her family vlogs and her day in the life videos, I feel like I know the family and if I was ever in the Dales I would hope I would have the courage to go over and say hi. Her two boys are so cute, Steve is so down to earth and their house is a big old fashioned cottage style house which I love. I will leave a speed cleaning video of hers below which I am obsessed with watching at the moment.
Next up I have another mummy vlogger who I found after becoming obsessed with cleaning videos and family vlogs. Lucy from Lucy Jessica Carter is a mum of two who uploads everything from cleaning videos, food hauls and makeup and clothing hauls. Her two boys are absolutely gorgeous and I love her grey stylish home. I love watching her weekend vlogs with her family and seeing what they have been up too. She has a great photo gallery wall in her living room which I have so copied! I will leave her day in the life of mum video.
Lastly for this post I have the ever cool Emma Hill. I originally found her YouTube through her blog website and fell in love with her style and manors. I love her style of clothing and I wish I could pull off the light denim jeans and blazer look. Later on in life I hope I can adopt that style and look as cool as she does. Her seasonal wardrobe clear outs are one of my favourites to watch purely to see how many pairs of jeans she actually owns goals and I will leave my favourite below. Emma is originally from Cornwall but now lives in London with her husband Simon who is hilariously unimpressed with Emma most of the time. Her style of home furniture is so chic as well, I need her bathroom and plant area!!

I will leave her supermarket autumn look book which I love everything in. I also love watching her speed cleaning videos because she has a great kitchen to watch being cleaned, does anyone understand that or am I just being weird?

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
This is a cult classic for most people and I tried this product right at the beginning when I was starting out and haven't looked back since. It really is as good as everyone says and I recommend this to everyone.
Baby Lips
You guys know how bad I suffer from dry lips and since trying these lip balms many moons ago I haven't bought another product since. They last me ages even though I use them multiply times a day and are great to wear underneath lip products.
Real Techniques Brushes
Being a blogger I always want to support other bloggers who bring out products and the Real Technics brushes are items I would happily buy multiple times to show my support. They are some of my favourite brushes to use and even though I do have some cheap versions in my collection, I do always go back to the originals when I want my face to look the best.
NYX Lips
These exploded last year in the blogging community and when the counter finally came to the town next to mine I picked up a few bits to try and fell in love with the products. I have three lip creams which I regularly keep in my makeup bag for everyday use and there are so many more NYX lip products I can't wait to try.
Nivea Post Shaving Balm
Nikki Tutorials made this such a popular product that I thought this was going to completely change my life. I do love using this as a primer as my skin looks amazing and last for so long, it is perfect for weddings or nights out when you want your skin to stay fresh all day/night. I don't wear it very much though as I do think it causes spots on my skin so I save it for special occasions.
L'Oreal True Match Foundation
Nearly ever beauty blogger or YouTuber has this foundation in their collection it seems and I totally understand why. it is amazing at making my skin glow and look like I have the perfect skin. I go through stages of wearing it everyday and then not wearing it for weeks because I don't want to run out. The price of this product is great and definitely worth a try if you don't have it in your collection.
Top Shop Glow Pot
At one time nearly everyone was using this highlighter in blog posts and videos and now its kind of become forgotten about. This is a great highlighter at such a good price, a lot of people have compared this highlighter to many high end products which show how good it is. The only down side to this product is that it does rub off my foundation when I apply it. Knowing me though, I am probably applying it wrong.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
I don't know anyone who doesn't like this bronzer and that shows how popular this bronzer actually is. I bought it a very long time ago and I still love it as much as when I first got. I think the best thing about it is that you can use it as a bronzer as well as a contour because the tone of the product is perfect for both.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo
To this day I still use my Colour Tattoos on a regular basis as they are so easy to use. I have 3 shades in this and I think its time to pick up a few more shades soon. They blend really easily and last a long time on the lids so they are definitely worth the hype for me. I love to use them on lazy makeup days.
T H E B A D
Mac Studio Fix So many people love this foundation so of course I had to try it but I have been disappointed. I hardly use this foundation but I can't bare to throw it away or pass it on because I want to like it. I like natural looking skin and this foundation can look natural if your don't use a lot of product but most of the time when I wear it, it just ends up looking cakey. I find with this foundation I don't like the look of it until its been on for a few hours which isn't good because then I have to take it off. I think for the price, the foundation just isn't worth it.
Benefit Erase Paste
This concealer was really hyped about when it first came out and that made me try it out not long after it surfaced. I got the shade fair which I thought would be great for me but it was really orange toned, when I had a tan it wasn't too bad on my skin but the coverage and the tone just didn't work for me. Also the pot was really annoying to use.
Bodyshop Shade Adjusting Drops
Everyone went crazy for these drops when they first came out and I really wanted to try out the dark drops because I thought they would be more useful. I don't know whether I used it wrong but every time I used these drops my foundation just looks muddy which is not the look I was going for. I started using the drops to cream contour my face which worked better than darkening my foundation but since I don't cream contour very often, the product just didn't get used.

I love her makeup videos because does really beautiful natural glowy looks that you can recreate on a day to day basis. I also completely trust her monthly favourite recommendations and watch her videos religiously. I never miss her videos and love watching her vlogs especially if Will is in them, them two are super cute.

Steph is a new obsession of mine who I have recently watched nearly every video of, she seems to make any product whether it is a really underrated cheap product look amazing on her skin. She loves her drugstore makeup which is one of the reasons I love her so much as she talks about stuff that everyone can afford. Her makeup just slays every time and I wish I was her friend.

I discovered Sophie at the end of last year and her videos are so good. She does great testing makeup videos trying out different technics and brands and that was how I found her. I love testing makeup videos and she has some pretty great ones on her channel. I love the way she does her makeup and again she is a drugstore makeup lover!

After finding Sophie I discover Luce who is very similar to Soph but deserves a lot more followers then she has! Like Soph she posts testing makeup videos and reviews on her channel which I totally trust as she is so relatable. I love the way she does her makeup and the range of products she uses so anyone can afford to buy them too.

I feel like i'm a part of the family and I feel like a proud family friend watching Delilah grow up which is so strange considering I have never met any of them. I think Rhiannon is a great mother and I love how she is still so open and honest about parenthood even when people make comments on everything she does.

For Christmas I got the Blank Canvas Cosmetics Pippa Palette from my partners parents and I am so thankful for it. I had heard about the brand before through Sinead Cady from the Makeup Chair on YouTube and I have been wanting to try something from the brand for a while.
This palette is the perfect palette for me as it is great for easy everyday smokey eyes which don't look to crazy and over the top. I am not one to stand out with my makeup, call me boring but I like to do subtle makeup that compliments my face and looks natural and that is so easy to achieve with this palette. In the palette you get a bronzer/contour shade Amour, a blush Pipsy, a highlighter Lulu and six eye shadow shades K.D, Dodo, Susu Tobi, Ollie and Lily. I love how natural all these shades are from the blush and highlight to the contour colour and I have used all the shades and liked how they turned out. I am not a big blush fan as you all know but Pipsy is a lovely soft natural shade which with a soft hand is hardly noticeable on the skin if you don't like to have an obvious blush on your cheeks. Amour is a lovely ash brown shade which I really like to contour with and Lulu is a gorgeous subtle golden highlight which I can't wait to wear during the summer.
For my everyday eye shadow I have been covering my whole lid with Ollie to make my lid look neutral for the look, I then use Tobi on the outer half of my lid and Susu on the outer third of my lid. To add some dept to the look I add a little of Dodo in the outer corner and if I am feeling really brave I add a tiny bit of K.D in the outer corner. These eye shadows are powdery when you swatch them but don't appear chalky or patchy when on the lids. The eye shadows blend really easily and last all day on my eye lids so they past the test there. The packaging for the palette is your standard cardboard which I know a lot of people don't like but I don't have a problem. It has a pretty pink girly design which I think is really pretty and stands out in my draw which is full of pretty much all black palettes.
For £30 it isn't the cheapest palette on the market and I don't see it to be a very big brand that talked about a lot but I totally think the palette is worth the price. I think it is a great palette for everyday use and with the amount that I use this palette, totally worth the money.
When Tanya Bur first released her makeup range in 2014 I wasn't too interested in her products at all, but her 2016 make up collection is absolutely right up my street. As soon as she uploaded a video of her using the products I knew I had to have them. I purchased the Face Illuminator months ago and fell in love with it so when I realised I got the Tanya Burr Beautifully Defined palette for Christmas I was so happy.
First of all the packaging is just gorgeous, compared to the packaging of her first range the packaging of this range is so much better. The palette has a magnetic lock which is a very nice touch indeed and as you open it you have a heart shaped mirror on the left hand side and all the product is on the right hand side.
After trying the Face Illuminator I knew I would like the other products in the range and I was right. Included in the palette is a squeeze-y tub of highlighter, three eye shadow shades, a powder highlighter and a powder bronzer.
The liquid highlighter is an absolutely gorgeous golden shimmer highlight which is very much the spiting image of her Face Illuminator if not a little more glittery. It will be amazing in the summer when I have a tan and want to look sun kissed and golden.
The powder highlighter (Champagne Shimer) is more a subtle version of the liquid highlighter which I have been using non stop so far this month. Whereas the liquid highlighter is more golden, the powder highlighter is more toned down and more of winter highlight in my opinion which is why I have loved it.
The bronzer shade (Caramel Kiss) is a lovely subtle powder bronzer which really suits my skin tone and I have really liked wearing since I got it. In the pan the bronzer looks quite dark but on the skin it isn't too dark or over the top.
The three eye shadow shades are really easy to wear everyday bronze shades. Cuddle Me is a lovely brown crease shade which I have been using all over the lids. Silk Pyjamas is a gorgeous golden brown which I like to pat on top of Cuddle Me to add some shimmer to the look. Baking Brownie is a dark chocolate brown which I have been using lightly in the crease to give my eyes some extra dimensions.
Recently I have wanted to find some new YouTubers to subscribe to as I was getting bored of waiting around for the same people to upload new videos so I went on a hunt for some fresh material and I have found loads of lovely girls to watch recently so I thought I would do a post on all my favourite content creators.

I'm sure everyone will know who Zoe is. I've been subscribed to her channel for a year now and like everyone else, I've fallen in love with her! Her videos are about everything; clothes, makeup, crafty bits and some funny videos with the guys.

Gabby is such a lovely girl! Her channel has grown so much over the last fee months and it's not hard to see why. She does great tutorials and is hilarious in every video. Definitely someone to watch!

Corrie again is a lovely girl who makes great videos including clothing hauls and beauty tags. Her style is exactly like mine so I love her clothing videos.

Sineady's channel is great for makeup newbies who want to know the basics like the different concealers, hiding spots and how to apply foundation. She has literally filmed a video for every thing you could want to know.
These four girls are always top of my list when I look through my subscriptions, they are all really entertaining and have really helped me choose new products and find some right gems!
