My Current Face | May 2016

current, face, face of the week, smashbox, l'oreal, maybeline, miss sporty,

My current face routine has changed a lot recently with a few new products added to my everyday makeup bag and I thought it was about time I show you guys whats I have been loving. My new second skin has been the L'Oreal True Match foundation in the shade Vanilla Rose. I have heard so much about this foundation from Youtubers and Bloggers and I finally followed my heart and purchased it. The foundation is so dewy and glowy but in a none shinny and oily way, I was worried the shade I picked might be too dark but it matches me perfectly and gives me a nice natural tan as well as blending in well with my skin. I agree that this product is super bendable, it doesn't matter how much I slap on my face it still all blends in together and doesn't look caked on at all.

To conceal my current favourite is the Miss Sporty Perfect Stay Concealer in Light which I tried out mainly because of Gabrielle I'm not going to lie. It definitely isn't a concealer to use on spots as the converge isn't there but as for under eye brightening, it is spot on. The light shade is perfect for brightening my eye area with my current foundation shades.

To add a spot of dimension to my round face and my chubby cheeks I have been using the Maybeline Master Sculpt Contour and Highlighter in the shade 01. You can't go wrong with this powder as the contour gives a subtle contour to your face so you wont look like a drag queen by accident, something that I am prone to do often! The highlighter shade really compliments the subtle glow of the contour and I really like the effect it gives my face.

As for eyes and brows I have been using my SmashBox Brow Tech Matte Pencil for absolutely months now, I purchased it at Biecster Village late last year and I haven't used another product since. It is so easy to work I haven't needed anything else since. To make my eyes more open I have been using the L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes which keep its hold all day if I use eye lash curlers.

So this is all I have been putting on my face recently when usually I like to pick and choose from my whole makeup collection. What are some of your current favourites?

My Favourite Primers

Primer, Round up, Dior, benefit, Newlook, Revolution, Collection,

A trend that I have really been embracing this year is primers and I have a collection of pretty good products in my stash now. Mainly all drugstore but I do have a special mention for one high end product which I love. I have recently finally purchased the Nivea Mens Post Shaving Balm which I am currently trying out so I wanted to take a look at my beloved old favourites before this product takes over my life.

Revolution Ultra Face Base Primer
I think this was the first ever primer I purchased and and the only silicone formula I have in my collection. I love the finish this gives my skin, it always feels like baby skin after I've used it and it does a great job of keeping my makeup in place all day. I need to repurchase this primer again as I'm nearly running out and I like to have it in my stash to go back to all the time.

Newlook Pure Colour Mattifying Primer
I've spoken about this product before quite a few time most recently on Pure Colour Collection so you will know how much I am fond of this product. It really works at stopping my skin from turning oily or shinny during the day and keeps my makeup up to scratch when I'm running around all day.

Benefit Pore-fessional Primer
This is a blogger classic which over the years I have received lots of samples of so I have never had to fork out on a full size which is helpful! The texture of this product is my favourite out of them all as it so soft and creamy on your skin. I tend to use this when I am going out for the evening or for special occasions.

Lastly I have a special mention for my Dior Pore Mininizer Primer which is my favourite (and only) high end primer. This is so luxurious for a primer and my ultra party primer potion for when I go to very special occasions, this baby isn't getting wasted!

My Beauty And Style Bibles | Lauren Conrad & Fleur De Force

beauty, books, bibles, lauren conrad, fleur de force, the glam guide,

I love a good book and books about how to do certain makeup tricks and how to fine the perfect pair of jeans are my favorite kind. I find these books so good to help learners start picking the right products and finding their own techniques that work for them. I regularly go back to these books to help me do a certain style of makeup or what I should be avoiding.

Fleur De Force \ The Glam Guide
Of course like everyone else I went crazy for Fleur's book when it first came out, I pre-ordered it and wasn't disappointed when it arrived. Since I loved Fleur as a person and as a YouTuber, I knew I was going to love the content of this book. The range of topics it talks about is huge, it contains makeup, hair, fashion, travel, fitness, tips for blogging and YouTube and a section on self confidence and body image. She takes you through the colour wheel which tells you what colours suit which eye colours, the best brushes for every task and how to choose foundations. The layout of the book is so dreamy, it looks perfect on my book shelf on display and I find myself looking back on a day to day basis for little snippets to use.

Lauren Conrad \ Beauty
I have been obsessed with Lauren Conrad ever since I was a die heart fan of The Hills. I loved her style and how she presented herself so of course I bought both her books! In the Beauty book she includes so much information, if you were to only buy one beauty book I would convince you to buy this one. The book includes skincare, haircare, how to deal with stress, fitness and food, everyday and party makeup, everyday and party hair, nails and lastly it gives you lists of ingredients you should avoid using for certain skin. It literally has everything in! It includes photos of loads of different models with all different skin colours, hair colours, hair lengths and styles to show you how to do different makeup and hair on different people. Just like The Glam Guide this book looks so pretty on my shelf and very swish.

beauty, books, bibles, lauren conrad, fleur de force, the glam guide,

Lauren Conrad \ Style
Just like Lauren's Beauty book, her Style book is jam packed full of useful tips, tricks and lovely photos of Lauren looking beautiful- slight girl crush going on. It includes so much helpful tricks that help you save money like where to splurge and save, how to update outfits, how to shop effectively online, how to prolong outfits, how to hand wash clothing and how to dress a LBD 5 ways. It also talks about how to find the perfect pair of jeans, how to de-clutter your wardrobe (I bet we all need to do this), every pair of shoes you'll need and how to downplay and show off you different body parts. As well as all that it has extra sections of makeup and hair (which is a condensed version of her beauty book), how to dress for work and school and what to take with you when you are traveling.

All of these books are so useful and worth a read if you are into beauty like me, they also all say slightly different things so it isn't like reading the same book twice. I love reading different peoples opinions on certain trends and how they do it on themselves. One thing all of these books have in common is they have a section on 'how to do smokey eyes' which is perfect for me! I am slowing getting better which I like to think is because of these books. If you have any other beauty books that are worth a read, leave them in the comment.

Rimmel Foundation | The Formulas

The one drugstore brand who I think know their foundations really well are Rimmel, they dominate my foundation collection by more than half and every formula they come out with suits my skin so well. Rimmel is one of the first brands I started using when I dove into makeup in my teens and I still love the same products now.

favourites, foundation, lasting finish, match perfection, rimmel,

My all time favourite foundation and the first one I ever tried out is the Rimmel Wake Me Up. This foundation gives me perfect glowy skin and a little subtle shimmer to my skin. It has a medium coverage so it covers most blemishes and it doesn't cake on my face no matter how much product I put on. yay! The shimmer to the foundation isn't to everyone's taste but I love the glow it gives me and that's why this foundation is a staple in my summer makeup bag. Plus for a smaller size bottle the product lasts for ages!
I have this product in 100 Ivory and 200 Soft Beige

Another formula I love from Rimmel is their Match Perfection foundation which was my holy grail foundation for about 2 years. This is my bog standard good skin in a bottle foundation, no matter what my skin is playing at at the time this foundation comes to the rescue every time. It again is a medium coverage which is build-able depending on how your skin is behaving and how much product you want to use. I specially like to use this formula when my skin is particularly red and patchy as you can never till once I have this foundation on. This foundation is my go to holiday/tanned shade.
I have this product in 201 Classic Beige

My last formulation I am going to talk about is the Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hr foundation. I have this foundation in both the Nude and the Comfort Serum, to be completely honest I can't tell the difference between them but I love them both. This is the foundation which is 9/10 times in my handbag with me in case I need a touch up or I am on the move somewhere. Like the match perfection formula this foundation gives me good skin when my skin isn't particularity behaving and can be built up to give more than the medium coverage that it gives with one layer.
I have this product in  103 True Ivory and 200 Soft Beige.

One thing I love about Rimmel Foundations is the price, you can't go wrong with a good foundation for £7.99. It doesn't matter what brand I try for a new base - and I am trying to branch out a little bit- I always find my way back to Rimmel as I know their products work for my skin. All three formulas blend really easily into the skin so that it doesn't look like you have a layer of slap on and they last all day.

Which formula is your favourite?

Pure Colour Collection | The Good, The Bad and The Wonderful!

Every since Newlook started selling their Pure Colour makeup range I have been hooked, I swore by the Kelly Brook nail polishes and mascara and then they reformulated their makeup and I fell even more in love. The reformulated version is called Pure Colour and my collection is rather large now...

Newlook, Pure colour, Makeup, collection,

I have purchased loads of base products from Newlook over the months, my all time favourite is Mattifying Primer which is a really good primer for the price that it is. It really helps to make my foundation last longer and it gives me silky smooth skin which I love. I also have the Illuminating Primer which I am not as big a fan of as I don't think it changes how my skin looks that much, but as a primer it is still good.

I have two types of foundations from the range, the first is the Liquid Foundation in the shade 03 Beige which I really like to wear on 'no makeup days' when I am lazy. It lasts on my face all day at work and blends in really nice with your fingers rather than a brush. I also have the Foundation and Contour Sticks in 01 Light  and 02 Medium. On my arm the Medium Foundation looks considerably darker then the Lighter shade but the difference isn't this large in real life. I like to use the light shade all over my face and then the medium shade to contour my cheeks and temples.

Newlook, Pure colour, Makeup, collection,

One of the first products I purchased was the Liquid Concealer with the Liquid Foundation and compared to the quality of the foundation, the concealer didn't impress me at all. I don't like how it looks on my skin and I don't like blending it in either. It also doesn't hide anything which is its main job. That's enough of  a bad review, now onto my all time favourite product from the range, the Contour Palette!! I actually only use one shade in this palette but that one shade makes this palette my all time favourite. The contour shade is so perfect for my skin, it isn't too brown or too muddy looking which I find a lot of the time.

collection, makeup, Newlook, Pure Colour,

Another of my favourite products from the range is the Highlighter Stick in 93 Gold. This is a gorgeous golden shimmer highlighter which blends in really easily and doesn't stick out on the skin. The Baked Power Highlighter is also an amazing product, it is more of a highlighter / bronzer with its golden brown pigment.

Newlook, Pure colour, Makeup, collection,

I have two eye products from the range as well, the Baked Eye shadow in 91 Bronze is amazing and super pigmented. I haven't had much use of the Waterproof Ink Liner but from trying it on my hand I can see it is long lasting as I can't get out off afterwards.

I have already given you two posts about the Pure Colour Lip Sticks before so I wont go into too much detail as you can read them both here Pure Lips #1 / Pure Lips #2. I also have some Matte Lipsticks from the range which I was really excited to try but they are just too matte for me and they dry my lips out too much which I am really disappointed about. The lip crayons on the other hand are so nourishing on the lips and leave a shiny smooth colour on my lips.

Newlook, Pure colour, Makeup, collection,

My Collection is definitely a large one but for the price of the products you can't go wrong. Since I was only disappointed in two of the product I think that is a pretty good run.

Have you tried any of the Pure Colour collection?

Whats In My Makeup Bag

This is a half what's in my makeup bag / half April favourites post mashed into one so you are welcome! A few products have been creeping their way into my makeup routine and setting up shop there for weeks now so I think it is time to let them have their day (I think that's how the saying goes...). Here are some of my current favourites which are permanently in my makeup bag.

  • Baby Lips in Hydrate
  • Mini Benefit Porefessional Primer
  • Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hr foundation in 103 True Ivory
  • Miss Sporty Concealer in 001 Light (for under eyes)
  • Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in Cool medium (for blemishes)
  • Smashbox Brow Tech Matte Pencil in Brunette
  • Bodyshop Honey Bronzer in 01
  • Pure Colour Baked Highlighter in 93 Gold
  • Maybeline Colour Tattoo in 35 On and On Bronze
  • L'oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara

  • Newlook Pure Color Lip Liner in 72

Some of these are old classics while others are brand new editions to my collection and at the minute, this mixture is what is making up my face. I am trying to use up some of my old products that have been forgotten about now so this might changes completely or not change at all. Lets see in the next few weeks!

Period Pain Remedies

Period, pain, remedies,

It's that time of the month again when I want to curl up into a ball and die. A little over dramatic maybe but we are allowed to over dramatize it since sometime it does feel like death is gripping us from within. I need a lot of home comforts to help me through this dreaded time and I am going to share them with you today. I am currently sitting here in bed with 4 of them on/being used, just waiting on Cal to finish watching football so I can have the last!

  • Lots and lots of chocolate - white, milk, in cookies, in bar form, with ice cream. Basically anything with chocolate on will be fine.
  • The most fluffiest Pjs I can find - matching off course with big slippers and a dressing gown to go with.
  • Lush showers daily- I always feel gross on my period so daily showers using the best smelly Lush products help me feel better.
  • Hot water bottles are life! Especially if they have a furry cover.
  • Big fat pillows to place in between your legs when you sleep - Please tell me I am not the only person who does this to ease the pains at night?!
  • I know I mentions chocolate but like any food at all will do. Home cooked is the best but takeaway does the job, especially if there is no one to cook it for me!
  • Big baggy joggers and a comfy hoodie - preferably the boyfriends as they always seem to be more comfy.
  • Lots of cuddles with the boyfriend - If you don't have one a teddy will do, they might even be better...
Now time to curl up listening to Shaun Mendes voice to sooth my sore belly...
P.S I couldn't find a photo to go with the post so have some snapchat selfies of me!

10 Things Frozen Has Taught Us

Frozen, list, life, lessons,

Frozen has become my all time favourite Disney film, of all time. I mean I know being a 90s girl I should secretly still love all the classics and I do, but Frozen has topped the charts. Since you guys really liked my Cinderella post, here are 10 things that Frozen has taught me...

  3. Don't bottle up your emotions
  4. Always embrace your talents, don't hide them
  5. Snowmen are amazing especially when they can talk
  6. Don't let the haters push you into the shadows
  7. Always choose the blonde hair guy (hi Cal)
  8. Talking about your feelings feels so good
  9. Don't be ashamed that your child is different
  10. If your a princess, don't trust anyone with 12 brothers!

Barcelona Buys + Mac Makeover

Ahh being back from holiday is always bitter sweet. I missed my bed and room like crazy over there but being back at work makes me crave the feel of being in a different country.
I went back to Barcelona with Cal at the beginning of the month which was amazing but I have the holiday blues now I am back at work :(

Anywho I picked up a few goodies over there to try out and I have not been disappointed. I'll start with the first items I bought, a bargain pack of three Clinique lipsticks for £30 at the airport. Considering Clinique lipsticks can range from £16-20 each I think I done well with my purchase. In the pack you get three colours; Sweet Pop, Bare pop and Cherry pop and these are all colours that I would wear so I am really excited to try them.

Clinqiue, Revolution,Mac, Etnia, barcelona, spain, makeover,

Next I ventured into a random Spanish makeup shop and really wanted something to bring back with me so I purchased a lipstick for only 5 euros which is crazy cheap. The make of the product is called Etnia and the brands website is all in Spanish so I can't even tell you anything about them but I will let you know how I get on with it in case I make a try back to Spain for some more!

Lastly in Barcelona I came across a shop very similar to our Superdrug and Boots, which sold Revolution palettes for 4-5 euros. which is amazing! I controlled myself and only picked up two (but I could have walked out with them all). The palettes are Salvation and Iconic Pro which I am so excited about! I already have some favourite shades which I can't wait to use.

Clinqiue, Revolution,Mac, Etnia, barcelona, spain, makeover,

When I came back from holiday I also had a little late birthday surprise present from my sister which was a Mac Makeover in the Debemhams store in Mk. I have always wanted to try out Mac foundation but after a bad experience where a girl matched me wrong and I ended up looking ill and ghost like, I have steered clear of them so this was really exciting for me. I got her to teach me how to do soft smokey eyes and a cute little cat flick, I didn't take any photos of the makeup annoyingly before I went to bed so I can't show you but I would definitely recommend the experience! It costs £30 for the session and then at the end you can take home £30 worth of Mac products which I think is a great deal.

I picked up the foundation she used on me which was the Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC15 and a Cremesheen Glass Gloss she used on me in the shade Delight. Both I have used everyday since purchasing them tbh! The only annoying thing about them is that the foundation didn't come with a pump, what foundations now a days don't include pumps??

I'm sure most of these products will crop up in a makeup look or favourites post soon so this won't be the last time you see them. I'd love to know what other Mac products you think I should I try out!

3 Step Skincare - Barcelona Edition

Travel Skincare Barcelona Clinqiue Lush

I only recently posted about my travel skincare routine in February and I already have another post for you, this one is slightly different as this is my Barcelona edition. Obviously when you go abroad you can't take a lot of products with you because of baggage allowance, plus I don't spend a lot of time in the room on holiday so I don't want to spend ages pampering myself.

The first product I used everyday is the Lush Ultrabland Cleanser to remove my makeup and the cleanse my face first thing in the morning. This product is great to quickly and thoroughly clean your face and get all the dirt and makeup off. I forgot about this product for a good few months when I turned a little lazy and got obsessed with my miscellar water, but when I was packing for my holiday I couldn't not take it. Since using it I have become obsessed with the product again because it has little gritty particals in that really work the dirty on your skin so you can feel the product picking up the dirt.

After I have took my makeup off I used the Lush Kalamazoo Face and Beard Wash which I have recently become to love. I took it on holiday as it was a good size pot to pack which wasn't going to weigh me down and I have ended up really growing to love it. I never used to feel like it did much to my skin before but since using it on holiday, I really see and feel a difference in my skin when I don't use it. It leaves my skin really soft before I've even used any moisturiser.

Lastly to put moisture back into my skin before I apply my makeup, I used my all time favourite moisturiser which I finally got back in my life, the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising lotion. This has been my holly grail for a few years now and I finally have a bottle of it rather than a tub which I am very happy about! I have mentioned this moisturiser a lot of times on this blog so I won't blabber on too much about it but it is the best moisturiser I have ever used as it leaves my skin hydrated all day.

And that is my simple no fuss skincare steps, have you tried any of the products?

W7 In The Nude and In The Buff Palettes

W7, In the buff, In the nude, eye shadows, palettes,

Recently I added two new eye shadow palettes to my collection and I have not been disappointed. The palettes are the W7 In The Nude and In The Buff Natural Nudes and I have seriously been impressed with them. I have had my eye on them for a while but I never knew where to purchase them as they aren't in Superdrug or Boots, then I discovered that they were sold in B&M and I couldn't resist trying them out.
The quality of the eye shadows are really good for the price of £9.99, most of the time you can get it even cheaper online or in B&M for around £4 which is even better. The eye shadows last all day on my eye lids (with or without a eye primer) which I was surprised about, the pigmentation of the eye shadows is rich and creamy meaning they blend in seamlessly every time. Because they are quite creamy I tend to use the smudge brush to apply the product and then use a fluffy brush to blend out the product or to blend two colours together.

W7, In the buff, In the nude, eye shadows, palettes,

The range of colours you get in the palettes is really good and you can create a range of looks from just one of the palettes. You get 12 colours in each of the palettes and they range from a skin coloured nude to a dark crease colour. My favourite out of the two palettes is the In The Nude palette which I got first, it has 9 shimmer shades and 3 matte shades. All three matte shades are perfect bases for all the shimmer shades that follow and are perfect for the spring/summer time. I have had a lot of use out of this palette as you can tell from the indents everywhere.

The In The Nude palette is more for the going out/ glowing winter time of the year. It includes 8 shimmer shades and 4 matte shades all perfect for smokey eyes. The second shade which is a gorgeous golden shimmer shade (which has the huge dent in) is my favourite shade from both the palettes. This palette I am excited to use during the Christmas party season because the gold shades are just beautiful and so pigmented.

The packaging of these palettes is very Urban Decay with their plastic case which makes them really easy to clean and hopefully indestructible (I'll keep you posted!)

Let me know if there are any other W7 products that are worth purchasing!

Lip Loving | The Rimmel Edition

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks

I have recently discovered a new formula of lipstick that is rivaling all my other lipsticks in my stash. If I am being honest I have worn hardly any lip products during this winter. Now it is time for Spring so I need to get into gear and get my lips looking lip-tastic. That was really bad I'm sorry...

I wanted to try out a new formulation of lipstick to combat my severely dry lips I have had to endure this winter and the Rimmel Moisture Renew lipsticks caught my eye. I picked up the 200 Latino shade first to try out and I was amazed at how soft they made my lips feel. I have had dry cracked lips for months now but with just one layer of this lipstick my lips were super soft, moisturized and super pigmented. The colours of these lipsticks are really pigmented for moisturising lipsticks which I was surprised about. They don't seem to last too long because of their formula but I don't mind about that. My lips have not dried out once since wearing these lipsticks which is a big bonus for me, once the colour as faded from my lips I just reapply the lipstick and I'm good to go.

#Wanna know what the best thing about these lipsticks are?! You can find them super easy in your handbag because of the silver and purple packaging, how handy!

I have four of the normal Moisture Renew lipsticks and two Moisture Renew Sheer and Shine formula which I am loving just as much. Since first trying out the formula I have bought another five lipsticks in the shades 700 Better and Brighter, 180 Vintage Pink, 220 Heather Shimmer, 380 Dark Night Waterl-oops and 400 Good Mauve.

My favourite at the moment is 220 Heather Shimmer for a a really glossy nude!

Drugstore Beauty Haul

Drugstore beauty haul Newlook, pure colour, maybelline, rimmel, bourjois, seventeen, miss sporty, topshop, So the last few weeks I have bought quite a bit of makeup and so it is time for a bumper haul since I haven't posted one since September last year! It may have been a long time but I don't think I am going to disappoint you with this collection of goodies!

Pure Colour Foundation and Contour Sticks in Light and Medium
This sticks have only came in in the last week or so and I had to try them as soon as I spotted them. I love the idea of foundation in stick form but I haven't try any brands yet. To save my money being splashed on an expensive version that I didn't like I picked up this £4.99 version in 2 shades to try out. So far so good!

Topshop Glow Pot in Polished
I have wanted this pot for ages but My topshop never seemed to have this shade until last week. I couldn't buy it quick enough and I have loved it so far, the effect it gives my face is amazing and I understand the hype around it.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze
This is the 7th pot in my collection I can't get enough of these eye shadows. These are perfect for someone as lazy as me to just whack on my lids and go. As a big lover of bronze and glitter shades these one is right up my alley.

Miss Sporty Perfect Stay Concealer in Light and Medium
I've been looking for a new concealor for a while and after watching some YouTube videos I decided on giving this brand a go. The concealers are only £2 something each which is crazy cheap and worth a shot I think. I picked up the Light and Medium shade and there is quite a big difference in the shades so it might be worth mixing the two shades together to match my skin when I have a little tan to my face.

Bourjois Aqua Blush in 02 CocoriCorail
This product is just beautiful. I am not a big blush fan but the idea of this really intrigued me and once I tried it I found that I really loved it. The product can look scary when you first pump it out but it blends in so easily that it looks really natural on the skin.

Rimmel Oh My Gloss in 800 Crystal Clear
& Seventeen Lip Luster in Ice Maiden
I was on a hunt for some new lipgloss to add to my collection since I wasn't really get much use out of my matte lipsticks this winter. These two caught my eye for two reasons; the clear lipgloss to use when I don't want to use any colour but I want my lips to pop and the nude lipgloss to wear when I have big eye makeup.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in 200 Latino
I did buy one lipstick recently but I choose carefully with the moisture renew formula so hopefully my lips won't crumble into pieces when I apply it! The shade is a low key perfect for the spring time.

Rimmel Kate Moss Eye Shadow Stick in 100 Rose Gold
This stick is just so gorgeous, the shade is super pigmented and I've never really been into eye shadow sticks before but I thought this shade would be the best place to start. I love cream eye shadows so I am sure I will love this product.

Photo Diary | January-Febuary

photo, diary, January, February, five guys, lush, lobdon, TGI fridays, ice bar, homemade burger co,
I thought it was about time I had a little catch up/what I've been doing these past two months post with you all, so here is a little snippet into what I have been doing since the new year began!

  1. These are the flowers Cal got me for Valentines day. We don't celebrate valentines day really all we usually get each other is a card but he got some flowers delivered to me as a little surprise which was really cute.
  2. For valentines day we just drove to Peterborough for the day and had lunch at the Homemade Burger Co which do the best burgers ever!! If you have a Franks near you then I am telling you they are better than Franks. Plus they serve huge chunky chips.
  3. Me and Cal are trying to eat better and starting this year have vowed to cook for ourself's once a week together since we are rubbish at cooking right now. We both live at home so we can get away with not cooking. One night we made an amazing homemade toad in the hole with mash and carrots and believe me, it was incredible.
  4. I can't do one of these posts without including a face mask selfie! Here I am with my all time favourite Lush mask, the mask of Magnaminty.
  5. This month I had a Five Guys for the very first time, yes I know I am seriously late to the party. I had a strawberry milkshake with my meal and it blew my mind. Hands down one of the best milkshakes I have ever had.
  6. In January I took the plunge to get false nails for the very first time. I just got french tips nothing to fancy but I fell in love with them. I thought I wouldn't be able to do anything for myself in them but after the first day, I was moving trends and changing bars at work and they didn't even get scratched! They lasted about four weeks and I probably should have got them off a week earlier as they were so out grown but I didn't want to get rid of them. They are off now sadly and I decided to give my nails a rest before I get some more at the end of march for a wedding I am going to.
  7. Now another food photo... Cal and I have our own favourite curry house which does the best curries so when I had a weekend off we went out for a little date night there. My curry (which is the best) was a Chicken Tikka Masala (left) and Cal's curry was a Dansakk.
  8. Two friends and I spent a random day in London in January and we done loads! We went to the typical sightseeing places, went to oxford street and went shopping, went to the ice bar on regents street and finally had a late meal at TGI Fridays. We ordered cocktails like true Londoners.
  9. Here is my Ice Bar selfie! The capes weren't too amazing but they kept us warm for sure! You pay £15 to enter the bar for 45 minutes and for a free cocktail. We lasted about half an hour before we got too cold and left to feed our bellies. It is beautiful inside though and worth a look if you are in London.
